It really is in comparison to Modern Warfare 2. Everyone thought Modern Warfare 2 would be excellent with having everything really customisable, but Black Ops beats this easily. It's so fun to have so much to buy and unlock.
I can see it getting REALLY repetitive though. I seem to have done pretty much the same thing for the past 10 hours of game time, for the sake of about 7/8 levels of one prestige.
I guess the game is only as fun as you make it.
I like it much better then MW2 because I've yet to run into a nootuber. I go to MW2 and there's noob tubers all over the place.
I haven't played through the Black Ops story mode completely, but what I did go through is pretty fun. I like that you have to buy everything, that limits the amount of upfront noobers. It might also turn off a few noobers.
All in all, Black Ops is much better then I expected it to be, and better then any other Call of Duty game.
If I'm honest, MW2 didn't really present a problem in terms of noob tubing. Definitely agree how Black Ops doesn't have any noob tubers. I've seen the occasional one or two, but its because perks like one man army and danger close don't exist.Quote:

That is a fair point. But in the current way the game is played, it's not hard to be skilled. I easily finish positive game after game with a sniper. It's definitely repetitive too, and I'm only Level 33 first prestige.
Personally, I love the game, but it really does have some short falls. For one, spawns are horrible and totally random at times. There's also the issue with connections. Either there will be a connection error, and for some reason Black Ops decided not to relocate, and just ends the game. At other times, I will get stuck on the game loading screen, and will have to restart my PS3.
PS3 has a bad port, thats why
xbox has good spawns now, and not really any connection issues at all
and on a positive note, k/d nearly 2.5...aiming for 3 ;x
MW2 is way more fun i got bored after 1 prestige on black ops... .

Black ops has so much invisible walls, they were just lazy to create a way to walk really against some rocks but no they put a invisible before it. ..
I think MW2 is way better than black ops. Even though I'm level 50 in black ops with a K/D of 3.0
I have over 100k money and I haven't even gotten to past level 50 in order to prestige. I have unlocked every weapon and attachments that I have wanted...
Black-ops bores me because it's too easy to unlock everything.
I like wager matches but they get boring because I win all the time. (Explains the cash)
I have come across so many noobtubers and rocket users in black-ops.
In modernwarfare2 you can do so many things to have fun.
Black-ops the guns are so underpowered that if you are caught between two people that are not on your team there is no way you can kill them even if you are fully skilled.
Also, the story mode for blackops was very difficult due to the AI not doing anything at all to help.
I also personally like the kill-streaks better in mw2, and the graphics in mw2 were way better. I think blackops was trying too hard to be kinda like mw2, but that's what ruined it. They took off quick-scoping and drop shots, who does that?
This game is super handicapped and makes it way less challenging to play.
Also, the perks in this game are shit.
Ooo ninja pro, damn I can't hear anyone.
Ooo ghost pro, damn I got killed by air support.

I haven't played black-ops in so long, I kinda refuse to. The only thing I now play only with friends is Zombies. That's the only thing that I enjoy about this game now. It's so fucking boring now.
Panic knifers, shotguns, flamethrowers, doubleteamers, noobtubers. Lack of ammunition in guns, everything is just horrible. Black-ops did NOT beat MW2. I honestly don't care if you think so, we all know it didn't. You just want to make your self think that so you don't feel stupid for buying a game that will bore you in a little while.
Connection issues, party issues, etc. etc.
MW2 Rating out of me: 10/10
Black-Ops Rating out of me: 5/10

Yes it was fun for the first few levels, but that's the most excitement you will get out of it.
