Cabal online, so new it isnt even out!

Well..the game was in closed beta and now it is moving into open beta. Over the next few weeks I assume they will be dealing with problems addressed in Closed Beta.

I've no idea if it will be p2p or f2p..but I can say I don't care either way.

This game is so silly it isn't even funny. I played the European one and it was addicting...or so it would seem.

The ONLY reason I kept my computer on all night was to...be upstairs watching TV? What!?

The way you efficiently train your weapon is by beating on a dummy with a key held down to heal your energy. You do this all night for a few skill points..then all night for 1..then all night for about 1/4th..then it becomes useless.

This game SUCKED.

Not that great of graphics like in the ingame movie. Leveling is pretty slow. The quests are just annoying. Hell..the combat system sucked.

Unless they fixed all 4 of those things(which I know they didn't based on the European site and korean site) then it still sucks.

Why do people play it? Because a lot of people usually play p2p games like this...it's a matter of whether or not you're focusing enough attention on the game, or if you find yourself less intrigued by its...nonetheless pathetic storyline.

for me cabal was a bit dissapointment that because my computer probably werent good enough although it meet with min requirements the loading between maps was too long for me like for example those who played know Screamy Desert or what it was well in desert theres a guy with house and u have to enter to house to talk with that npc mostly entering house took too long and DCed me from game and when i enter game im dead and with good penalty well 2nd time i get into house but after talking that npc lol i got throwed out from house again long map loading when finished loading im either dead cause 100 mobs around me or either i get DC and still dead

Alright, to start, you did not level your skills right, thats why it was so slow for you. Get an adept set of armor on, adept rings and adept necklace, then you'll fly through the skill levels. At Master skill level with a adept set on, I was getting a skill point per about 15 minutes. The training dummies didn't even work in the closed beta until the end, so that wasn't an option anyway. Hitting dummies is not the only effective way of training your skill level. And obviously you didn't play the game long enough to learn that you can't level your skills past 9 on dummies. In a full set of adept and actually working to get my skill levels instead of hitting a dummy, it took not even a whole night for me to get from skill level 0 to 25+. Skill grinding isn't the funnest thing to do, but its the best way of raising your skill level. To make it even better, you don't even have to be hitting monsters your level to train your skills. You can go around killing Troglos at level 50 and still be getting good skill experience.

The graphics are never as good as the ingame movies; thats just for show to get people to play it.

Heres my character just before the last closed beta ended. I had only been playing for a week, and not hardcore either. I played 10 - 12 hours a day at the most, and that was only because I was out of school.

Now, how the hell can you say leveling is slow? There are 150 levels in the game and at level 75 you can start getting a level per hour for quite awhile from doing Lake in Dusk. LiD is a hour long mission that you are able to do at level 75. You can get Osmium armor from the bosses in there, and its hella good experience.

As you see, I went from level 78 to 79 in less than an hour. Not slow leveling at all.

The quests aren't annoying at all. The quests added both a challenge to the game and something to do when you're bored of grinding your ass off. Of course theres those really hard dungeons that you might not be able to do at the level you get them, but the quests are still a great addon to the game.

Why do you think the combat system sucked? The unique combat system is what made people want to play, and is what kept people playing. I mean, theres nothing more fun than pulling off a 25+ hit combo, or going into battle mode with two pistols and just blowing everything away.

And you still ask why people play the game. People play it because it's fun to play. With the right group of people, it's close to impossible to get bored of Cabal. From level 1 I was training with a group of people I met on a vent server. We always dueled each other when we got bored, then skill grinded together. The storyline is not pathetic, and its no where near pathetic. I'll be the first to admit, the storyline got so interesting after level 30 that I spent a whole day just reading through all the quests that I've completed. If there was a book about the storyline in Cabal, I wouldn't put it down until I read every page.

Thats pretty weird, because I had a friend playing on a pretty old laptop and he never lagged at all. For me, the maps never took over 5 seconds to load.

And btw, its Desert Scream. ;)

1st of all bumping a very old thread should get u a good warning.

2ndly at lvl 60 i had A.master sword and magic, i was a blader.
this game is ment for grind, doing quests = fail.
