you realise playing any shooter on a pc is going to ruin it, the game is intended to be played on a console.

Anyhoo, MW2 was great, it was just that after MW, it didn't add too much new stuff in the sense that it didn't excite you as much as MW did.
From what I've seen its an actual game, theres e3 footage of the campaign mode and it looks darn good

Yeah I figured that. It's just that everything looks so the same, this is not a bad thing considering that MW played so well and all, so I can definitely understand their choice there, it's just that when you buy the next version it just feels like a map pack with some new weapons, it's not really refreshing. Ofcourse it's hard to keep a game fresh, but still.

    @Omer -

Yes, CoD has the most population of gamers more than any other FPS games, but it's full of idiots.
Who wants to play a game with a bunch of assholes just because TONS of people play it and those assholes recommend you buying the game?

I do not hate the CoD series, but the community. Cheating on a console to think they are better? I don't see any other FPS games with players like these ones that play CoD.

"It looks like Modern Warfare 2" .... how? Well okay, yeah it does. It's a Call of Duty modern warfare-based game. I don't really see how they could change much of the look. Shall the people be dressed as clowns?

These "hackers" are just loading their gamer profile into a modding application and just editing their name to whatever they feel like, its illegal and should be reported but it does not constitute them cheating.

The double knives, side predator missiles, and guns look awesome. The gameplay looks intense,
    It sounds epic already o_o.

In my opinion, it looks no different than MW2 with a few changes. Although, I will probably end falling for their get rich scheme, and will purchase the game.

    R/C bomb ftw :D

Though honestly, it looks more like an expansion if anything. Paying full price for a continuation of MW2 which isn't even a year old yet upon this game's release... meh.

In my honest opinion I think people think this game will be garbage because of the developers which are:

    Treyarch/Activision

So more than likely they think the graphics and gameplay will suck. But it will not. Infinity did a good job of choosing them to take over this game and I assure they will blow the non believing fans away.

The argument isn't really that it should look different, but rather an observation that it's yet another MW that looks pretty much the same as the 2 before. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, however it is more of the same.

Just like how a new GH/RB game isn't refreshing, neither will this be, which makes it hard to get excited about it.

Personally I would have waited another year or more with this, and develop something different now, there are a lot of wars that could played out from different time periods, or they could try something say a shooting game on a much larger scale, say atleast 50vs50.

I really loved MW and while I haven't played MW2 that much yet (even though I own it twice... legally), I know it's a good game, but what does this one really add? I mean really.

Well yeah I guess you have a good point there. Then again, the campaign is set in the Vietnam war, so that should make for some great gameplay. Hopefully there are more maps that pertain to the "Vietnam" sense in multi-player, and not just those crazy-hectic-blow-my-ass-up maps.
