Well I'll not be buying this anymore after the news of no dedicated servers for PC just p2p.

Why would I do that since consoles are also p2p(peer2peer) game types, besides I'm not a fan of playing a fps with a controler.

In all seriousness, we don't buy FPS on PCs for halo 3 style matchmaking, the reason CoD4 is still one of the most played PC games is because of all the tournament, pub, clan servers.

Activision being the scrubby money making business instead of making games.

The funny part was the elitest joke. Of which most people on RZ lack currently, a sense of humour. Although i'm guessing you now understand the supidity of this decision? Also why would you think it mean't p2p :/

it's sad that CoD MW2 will run via steam...i did almost pre-order it...but seems like i will wait till there will be a steamless version. this sucks fkn hard

Yah though but it is technically CoD 5 depending how you look at it, It is not the 5th call of duty game but it is the 5th from the Infinity Ward Company, WaW was not my infinity ward... This game is going to be great until i get assassins creed II then i will be debating which one to play

It makes since for them to do that. That will ensure they have a release every year. The average production cycle of a game is 18 months.

Not to mention they have already stated that Infinity Ward will be developing the modern based games under the name branding "Modern Warefare" (hence the name of the next game) while Treyarch will be continuing the WWII series under the original "Call of Duty" name branding (hence why COD5 was only called CoD World at War).
