Re: [Console] Shall I choose Xbox One or PS4
I'm an owner of a PC, wii and PS3. Every console I have has got it's own games. There are games which are, in my opinion, based for consoles and for computers. For example. I wouldn't ever want to play CoD on my computer. I've got Battlefield 3 and 4, they are (in my opinion) meant for the PC. CoD is meant for consoles, so I have got CoD for my PS3. Same for GTA games. I'd rather have GTA V for the PS3 than the PC. Watch Dogs will be delivered at my home today. I'm not sure for what device Watch Dogs is meant. But I just feel like playing that on my PC.
About the graphics, PS(3,4)/Xbox (360, one) vs PC. You'll definitely pay more money for a brand new PC with the same graphics as the PS3/4 & Xbox 360/one, than you do for these consoles. However, on a PC you can "upgrade" your hardware and make the game run smoother. You cannot do that for your consoles.
And now on-topic: the Xbox one or PS4. I'd personally go for the PS4. Why? I personally like the PS controller more than the Xbox controllers. I also find the PS4 prettier than the Xbox. However, the main reason why I bought a PS3 instead of the Xbox 360, was because you do not have to pay to play online. Now that we have to do that for the PS4 as well, I refuse to buy it.

@DrBenSSJ You have good points, but you pretty much proved Microsoft's claim of people using the X360 console incorrectly, to be correct.

I never had an issue with my Xbox unless I neglected to use it for way too long and it got filled with dust, or unless I did something really stupid.
The discs only got scratched if I moved the console during game play, which was not much of a problem for the average user unless you planned to use it as a tether ball. I only got red rings when I neglected to use it and it got covered in too much dust for the fans to handle. My only other issue was trying to fix a disc tray issue myself which was stupid in the first place.
If hardware capabilities are your worries, than sure whatever. If you're the type of person who gets a hard-on for seeing the game slightly more defined than the other, go for PS4.
But if you're really worried about seeing things in high definition, go play outside, you'll never get better graphics in a game. :ott1:
I prefer the actual experience and in playing both the PS4 and X1, I enjoyed my experience playing X1 much more than the PS4. It's all preference.
Re: [Console] Shall I choose Xbox One or PS4
Agree with @Wreckless , I had xbox since 2009, never got the 3RL (old versions), never a disk of mine got scratched on my console... I clean my xbox regulary, but I have put my disks in my friends console, he have for less time than me, and they ALL scratch in the SAME place. I think it's all about care.
UPDATE: Guys, I think I choosed my next-gen console, thanks a lot for all help you guys give to me, it was really a decisive choice, and you guys made it clear to me. I had put everything into the balance. I had choosen the Xbox One. Gonna stick with my favourite console-series of all time guys. Xbox One have good entertraiment system, and also I'm more used to it's control, interface, and all. Friends also gonna buy it, so I'm more aliviated in my choice...
Thanks all you guys for the BIG help you give to me!!

Just because you never had any problems, doesn't mean a thing.
So here were the 2 major problems with the 360.
So on 1 hand we have the famous red ring of death (3 lights), while this could be caused by anything, like putting it in a closed area, faulty hardware etc, the most common reason was the solder. Now solder when heated becomes fluid, now normally this only happens by extreme amounts of heat, MS used a different composition though, now while this had some of the desired effect of making excellent connections, the problem was that around the GPU the heat would get too high for this solder, causing it to slightly meld and interrupting connections.
On the other hand we have the scratched discs. So MS used early on 3 different kinds of DVD drive, 1 of them was a model without safety cushions, now what they do is when the disc has a imbalance, they stabilize them. MS claimed this was caused by improper use, by moving it while playing etc, but in reality this just happened randomly, and while DVD drivers normally have cushions, these didn't and because of that they would scratch discs randomly (maybe the discs weren't perfectly balanced?)

You have valid points, but I still say the majority of the problems that occur are from misuse. I'm not saying that a large amount of the consoles sold weren't faulty, but all the problems that my friends, family, and I had were truthfully due to our own misuse of the product.
Re: [Console] Shall I choose Xbox One or PS4
Choose the platform you prefer. Every console has issues, and each console has its benefits. If you prefer Xbone, don't let other peoples opinions hinder yours.
