yes you will still have to buy it. When halflife2 comes out steam is coming up with the "plan" feature. Theres 3 plans stated by valve. theres bronze wich you get hl2 and css. silver which has hl2,css, and some limited addition css addon. gold has all of those and special things that come with hl2 and a trip to valve. what i heard is that you have to pay monthly for the games now once hl2 comes out. I THINK YOU HAVE TO PAY. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE THINK THIS IS THE FINAL WORD FROM VALVE. Go to cs.rin.ru for more info bout this. this is also when non steam is going to have a huge influx of people.
