Yeah sure - you can always Google search 'Steam Down' if you want to check it out. If you want to purchase CS:S through Steam it's very simple - just download the Steam client and when you boot it up it'll have easy directions to follow.

Buy halflife 2 from a shop NOT STEAM, steam charge £15 for css when you can buy halflife 2 & CSS for £15.
