CS:GO. Worth it?

CS 1.8 is source :))

About cs:go they are trying to revive 1.6 with new graphics and more mods supported ,like:gungame , deathmatch , demoliton , etc

Yes, competition wise, it's completely shit, better stick to 1.6 but graphic wise, it's something totally new and different.


I am a CS fan, so I enjoyed cs;go experience. I really liked it.. Although I can't imagine myself playing cs;go everyday..

It'd take long time to get used to.. :/:

What are the actual changes to the Source engine for CS:GO? It seems similar to L4D2 from what I've seen...

Got my key when the beta only had d1 as a map and 2 weapons lol. the game is really getting off the ground, its looking good and feels like cs. It still needs a lot of work don't get me wrong its not league ready yet. And to answer your questions YES! you should play it

I'm really hoping that this new game will give the community a needed revive in terms of player pool.. increased players will lead to further competition which leads to better tournaments like back in 2005/6/7. I really don't care about the new features and graphics, I'll definitely get used to it, all I want is a large boost in players like in the old days! That in itself has sold the game for me :)

:thumbup1: Honestly I couldn't have said it better, the cs community needs more players. COD players and BF3 players if you are looking for a more challenging game switch to CS:GO !
