And having a DotA background /does/ help but they aren't all that similar.

Darn! EU Server eh? I may have to make a smurf and try a game with ya. I'm always looking for people who can play a good carry well.

(I'm extremely good at tanks/supports but dont have many carries I can play)

I just love it.I used to play dota before but i got bored of it.Futhermore LoL has better graphicks and better heroes for me.

Yeah...I'm learning how to play...any recommendations? Heroes? I only have Warcraft III prior experience and MS, anything you can tell me e.g. tips so I can have a chance of beating my friends?

Last hit. Last hit, and last hit all the minions you can. Keeping looking for missing enemies, don't over extend, use wards, and most important, try to zone their carries.

Just tried it. Although 1 game took hella long. It was fun..

In the start it gets boring as hell.When you learn how to play it after 1-2 weeks you will see the differense.Also one game 3v3 can took from 30-40 minutes and a 5v5 game can took from 40-60 minutes.

LoL I did play for awhile, and Really enjoyed it... even if i got it handed to me often. Hit lvl 30 tho.
