I don't understand why everyone says "better games" if there is a crappy amount of PSP games out in Japan as there are DS games here. Oh sure FF7 will come out...but that and Ridge Racer...
I love my DS, and its kiddiness makes me play it even more. Also, that fact that the PSP can play MP3's, movies turns me down....I have a MP3 player I don't need another one. As for the Dead pixels...we don't have any PSP's here in the US to decide that, but I'm sure in Japan has some dead pixel probs.
psp = very short battery life, same games as on ps2 - almost no new titles (honestly who want to play same games again? not me lol), high price
ds = looks crappy but besides that it owns psp (to put it simple - because of games)
thats my opinion no one have to agree :icon6:
DS is gonna sell more of only becuase it appeals to all kinds of ages and its cheaper

ds is gonna sell more because its aimed at kids, psp has new games just like ds and the battery life isnt a problem unless you play it all day. If you're turned down by the fact that psp has a mp3 player you're not right in the head.

UK handheld that out classes both of them, also has GPS so the games can be made around your town, also can use to text ppl and stuff....
DS as playstation is sh1t, and 2 screens own, also better games on ds than psp imo :wub2:
If you like playing pokemon and mario then yeah it has better games if you like playing games designed for people over the age of 10 then psp has better games.
2 screens was a terrible idea because now instead of having your attention focused on one screen you have it diverted into two.
DS rules u can use ballpen for playing it it realy rocks!!!!
You do know that there are more adult gamers then there are people under 12 yrs
One screen for the DS is used to display a game menu or map while the other is the main gameplay screen so it's not that hard to focus
PSP does have more mature games and you can get extra ad-ons in the future
But i wouldn't bother buying either cause they both have design flaws. I'm just going to wait for the next gameboy...wait and see if it's any good
to all who say psp got better games than ds... this istatement was originally based on a ps2 vs gc comparision, which is also not true... if u look at gc titles, it got many more quality and varied games... whereas the ps2 has only advantage in numbers, they r filled with clones and rubbish, although i admit there r some really good games now and then, but far less than ppl r claiming.
and to all who differentiate between adult vs kids game... its the same as judging ppl from appearance... u r just too wimp to admit that u r playing something that kids do too, u "adults" want to differentiate urselves from the children... it's the "I am playing games, but these are ADULT games." syndrome, not admitting that there is a child in all of us... games r here to provide some fun and entertainment, whats wrong with it looking like it
only because nintendo includes the younger gamers does not mean they r designing games just for them... adults DO have fun with gc, gba and ds games...

Where as Sony is developing fun games that can be violent :) When i shoot someone in a video game i don't want to see love hearts flying out of them, i want blood!!!

Yes, there is the child within you which likes Mario Kart but for some people that child inside of them dies
