I think I'm going to go with my DS's able to stay-away from-my-room-outlet-ability for 10+ hours. I also like the idea that I didn' have to waste money on buying a flip-top screen protector or screen protectors because I was afraid my DS touch screen would become a wreckage site after doing what your suppose to do; USE IT. oh btw BFX don't matter! I have a GCN THERE I BEAT THE PSP's gfx. oh sure, I lke the way the PSP was shaped to fit decent in your hands, while the DS is like a brick, so I guess having wireless chat with my friends makes up for it. when the games are about as expensive as the big brother console, ti's not worth buying. There I've come up with a bunch of reason why I like my DS and sticking with it

WTF? Are you stupid? I don't find myself playing PSP for more then 4 hours a day. Seriously, if you are, get a console. I can understand for airplane flights, but that's what power bricks are for. Your sitting down, so it shouldn't bother you. As for the online aspect, Nintendo has never gotten it right (Phantasy Star Online anyone?) Well, think about it. I was playing Twisted Metal: Head On, Online, yesterday. I think if a average DS user saw that, they would change their mind if they had not already bought it. I have played both. The ds is somewhat fun, but its like watching paint dry when compared to the psp.
The difficulty level of ds games is weak, and even if you play against others, you are more likely to find skilled gamers playing the PSP. There is no challenge in owning a bunch of 13 year olds in Metroid or Super Mario.

Just because I said my DS has more battery juice than the PSP doesn't mean I play the fucking thing 24/7. I have a GCN and play that 24/7 :P.

You can't just jump to conclusions, I've played the PSP before and watch SpiderMan 2, played Ridge Racer (only some race my friend set up for me since I don't have the money for one). Don't just think I just assumed it sucks I know it does more than the DS, but does it complete peoples' goal? It's it a gameing system? Or a shiny hunk of shit is acessories?

Ya, I did play DS. Had it for 2 weeks with about 5 dead pixels. Returned it to get another one with dead pixels. (Not cheap store, EB Games - not used *DUH*). I played the demo game with the touchscreen which hurt my hand after 15 mins. I was like fuck this. DIdn't play for a week until I decided to return it again.

Got PSP. Still lovin' it :P. THe screens big, games look great. Who cares about battery life? After 2 hours u need a break anyways. Only prob is the dust collection but after u turn it off u can wipe it off. Oh, there are movies too on it so its great. MP3 is not that bad - Gonna get 1GB mem stick soon. And playing Untold Legends is awesome (Diablo 2 look-a-like)

In the end, PSP wins. DS just plainly sucks. Why? Because PSP doesnt say "TOUCH ME!!!" all the time like DS. -__-

PS - I've seen 16-27 yr old play DS. Wario ware and stuff.

I want to get Untold Legends...when PSP launches here in Aus.
But now i think i won't get it because Sony is releasing Untold Legends II which is a MMORPG

PSP kills the DS. Wireless networks, internet browser, 16 player wireless lan.

PSP can do lots mroe than just play games. Ds can only play games. plus the screens get ruined really fast on the DS and the touchscreen isn't as great as people tought it would be.

they need smash bros for DS to bring in the crowd, other than that, IMO PSP >>>>> DS

PSP is so much better than DS. Trust me, i own the PSP and I had the DS for a few months until it went on Ebay.

Try playing Rengoku on PSP. Get power hungry and hack n' slash all the enemies with beautiful spells and weapons. AND, you could link up to another PSP to play head to head and stuff. It's so much fun when you have a bunch of friends to all link up on a 8 player game and play.

So what if the DS has that lil' chatroom system? It's not like you can meet new people half a world away from you. It only works within a room's area. What's the point? You can argue about going to the mall to talk to people, but if the signal only goes so far, i doubt that you can't see the person your typing to to go and talk to them. Yes, you can also argue about the cheating-on-tests-in-the-classroom function, but why not use SMS? It even looks better for other people's eyes. I wouldn't wanna carry a huge thing around just to chat wirelessly for free...
