All used. Also, won't be buying this game. Game without open beta, free trial, and is P2P is generally trash. It's been shown quite a few times that for almost every MMO, F2P makes more money than P2P. Thus developers and management are likely idiots hence game quality is likely terrible.

Also results in fewer users and many players who would be interested in playing but won't because they have to pay and there's absolutely no guarantee that they'll enjoy the game. Only mammoth and well established MMOs seem to be able to survive on a subscription-only basis. There are tons of MMOs that have lasted far longer than the average lifespan of a p2p one that show incredible profits that are entirely f2p (no purchasing client, no subscriptions). It's called micro-transactions and it's becoming well known that it almost always performs better than subscription and single-purchase based systems.

Cool. Aion had amazing pre-order totals too. It's pretty much deserted now.

So did WAR now that I think of it.

Long line of MMOs that can say the same but have since pretty much died. Can't say many F2P have died, though. Hell, I'm working on an emulator project for a P2P mmo that died recently (brand new production, great code, good design and modularity, just can't survive as P2P).

make an account I got access for doing it. The servers are full for damn sure, and my latency is average 450ms which blows, but the game is beta and it's still not out yet.

I played about three hours of it and I'm impressed. Look up info on the game, I recommend it. Guild wars did ok with having sub classes, but Rift lets you have three class at once and you can use the skills simultaneously instead of swapping class to class. Now you can re-roll and choose new classes too if you're not happy with the three original ones you chose.
