Sure GTA has evolved alot over time , because I still remember the first two Grand Theft Auto games , which wasn't nearly as good looking as GTA V ... since both were just a top-down 2D game. But the gameplay is the same , and they were the same for almost 10 years now , and it's still a success , and although other companies have tried to make similar games to GTA , most of them have failed. (saint rows , just cause , sleeping dogs , mafia , scarface , true crime , crackdown , infamous , etc. )
These other games fail because they do not offer a large variety of activities in-game like GTA does, and the modding community for GTA is hugeQuote:

I'm not purchasing the collector's / special edition package, though it would be great to have it. I'm tight on money at the moment so I'm buying the standard edition - well, even that would be enough for me! GTA V is already packed with a lot of new features regardless so I'm still gonna have a big smile on my face on the day it's released lol
I can't believe it's only 20 days left. I didn't pre-order the Collector or Special edition either, I'll download the digital version of the standard edition the date of the release.
EDIT: Found a complete GTA V soundtrack list leaked. Sony lets people download GTA V before the release date, but it is not playable until the 17th, however, some hackers managed to extract the sound tracks from the download which were later posted on reddit.
