Well, just got the game. Talking to other people and they're saying it takes some time to install some stuff. Doing that now. Hopefully the game will be fun for me :)
My install took about 20 minutes.

This is just 10 minutes away from my house, and my friends were there last night when this happened!
Really impressed with the game, the blimps fun to fly around in aswell
Sent from my HTC Desire S
Been playing for around 10 hours, only doing the storyline. I'll be exploring everything after I complete the main missions, but from what I've experienced so far, I know I'll definitely enjoy this game until the next GTA title is announced... or DLCs
Even if it comes out for PC i'm not going to buy it. You can rant and rave all you want, but at the end of the day when it comes to companies you need to speak with your wallet. As a PC gamer i'm tired of rockstars bs. No red dead redemption, shitty port of gta 4, and plus we don't even know if it will ever come out for PC. They treat us like second rate customers when we should be the ones they cater to the most. PC gamers will go far more out of their way to help a good company than a console gamer would. Kickstarter is a prime example of that, plus the whole torrenting thing is bs. There are copies of gta 5 for ps3 and xbox 360 on multiple torrent sites already, and i'm glad there are. Hopefully it sends a message to rockstar. Companies lose more money from people buying used games than they do from torrenting so it shouldn't even be relevant. Many strictly pc developers have talked about torrenting and many have agreed that it's not as bad as people make it out to be. The most famous one would have to be dean hall.
Rockstar is full of shit and isn't getting a dime from me ever. They've permanently lost a customer, gta 5 is what put the final nail in their coffin for me.
^ Fair enough, I'm not going to argue with you if that's your opinion of Rockstar.
As for the PC version, if it ever comes out, I'll probably wait a while until people review it so I can see whether it has been optimised properly, and depending on the system requirements I should be able to run it at medium settings unless I upgrade my PSU and CPU in the future. I don't think I would download a torrent for it, they are sometimes very slow, downloading GTA V's 17+ GB files would take me forever
Been playing this for about three hours at a time twice a day. At the part where Michael is laying low, I really want to get off Trevor :( He is an annoying arse :D
I went past that mission yesterday, currently on one of those heist type of missions plus I've finished flying school with mostly gold and silver medals
About a day in and only 40% completed. This game is just pure win! Loving every bit of it. Especially buying stocks and the hiest missions.
I just reached 32% I believe (around that) and on my Rockstar social club page I've played for a total of 5 hours. I expected to have played for much more than that :D
Amazing game, nothing comes close to how much I love it, if I could just play it for hours on end I would but unfortunately my time at the moment is squeezed :P I'm playing the stock markets by destroying a particular business, buy a lot of stock and then destroy its competition. I've had great success and I've gone from a few thousand at the beginning to a few million now. I "manipulate" the markets!
As for the story absolutely amazing, I love switching between the characters, lets say I get bored of the psycho "Trevor" I can just go to my favorite character Michael.. or the other character :D
If you havne't got this already I really recommend you do get it. You can get at least 48 hours of actual game play (total amount in stats menu) of fun out of this and then we have GTA Online soon so.. BUY IT!
damn.. :(
I don't have PS3 or Xbox just need to wait for PC .. Right now I just can watch other play it ..
If you know the right missions, you can get through the game fairly quickly.
Doing Michael's missions instead of Franklins, you can get to Trevor within 1/2 hours. Michael is where you'll get the beefier missions and heists. I'm at about 45% after a day. I went through the missions that I already did on my PS3 pretty quickly. Still not at my PS3 point though.
