No Guild Wars 2 beta invites have been sent out as yet, more news to follow this week. There are plenty of scam sites and links floating around out there -- be careful! This is the only legitimate Guild Wars 2 Facebook page. ~RB2
I've seen an abundance of those scam sites, it's a shame.
Though I'm happy that the invites haven't been sent out yet. As weird as that sounds, it means I haven't not been invited :P

You know, after watching a lot of the videos, I don't think I'd really be too interested in gw2... I mean, its cool and all, but maybe I just don't want to play anything other than the "traditional mmo" right now.
Either way, EVE has got me really interested.

Yes, this game takes everything good from all MMO's, and does it 2 times better... it will be the best MMORPG when it is released (the requirements are fairly high though)
Requirements as in PC spec requirements? Or like dedication?
PC requirements, I have quad core 2.4 4 gb ddr2 and 9500 gt (acceptable) and I can't play it without framing! (it is beta though, it might be better later)
If you want to compare the graphics they are like Rift, but rift worked perfectly for me
Also it has dynamic fightning, you need to move, dodge, etc. but it's better than everywhere else
