I would say World of Warcraft, it's concept is probably better, and the layout is exquisite.
Nah GW is better.
Nicer graphics, [imo] better gameplay.. etc =)
Guild Wars has the best PvP environment though WoW is better at PvE.
Online RPG vs MMO ?
I honestly never liked GW, I dropped it within a week - even went so far as to giving away my account to someone who asked if anyone didn't want it. I just found it downright boring. My pet hate of the game, every area is instancing and places you interact with others are in towns.
I'm not particularly fond of WoW either, but you speak of Graphics. WoW's an MMO that never was one for graphics, but for it's art style. Also for the fact it can practically run on any computer. Has a community that's more accessible and a lot easier to trade, socialise with, etc.
If I were to play either, I'd definately go with WoW
I really regret WOW will never be defeated through its play and don't forget their daily update, Its always my dream to try wow already!

The thing I hate most about GW is unless your in a party, you are all alone once you leave a town. It's like playing a single player online game -.-
WoW is better just for that reason (In my opinion)
But as for Scenery I prefer Lineage 2. Don't much care for the game play.
All 3 games have a lot in common, and I absolutely hate the fighting system in all 3 games. Click a icon to use a skill, then wait for it to reload before you can use it again.
If they had fighting styles similar to MU Online, the games would be 100% better.
All I can say is that wow is the perfect mmo. It got a well planned gameplay, graphics that are easy on the computer and easy to learn and last but not least it has a very very strong company behind it to make alot of players play it.
And WoW's content updates are numerous and pretty often, which makes it even better.
Although i have played both games, i would definetly be leaning more to WoW than GW, just for the reason that it does not seem as player co-operation based, besides the missions ofcourse.

Because none of the graphic models, or the music, is already copy written? That could quite possibly be the stupidest statement I have ever seen. Would be like buying a DVD filming an extra scene and releasing it as your own.
I have never played Guild Wars personally, I never saw the point in an online single player game with lan style capabilities 0o. As for WoW, it's just getting too old now and they seem to be recycling the same old stuff over and over. It was a decent game, but it's becoming more and more watered down. It is also lacking in some fundamental ways, like having only 4 battle grounds and the spending of honour instead of accumulation (and display).
I have been playing Warhammer about a week now, and can quite easily say it is twice the game WoW will ever be. The classes alone set it above WoW, they are so diverse and interesting. The RvR stuff is brilliant, with 3 instanced battle grounds per tier and 4 tiers which can be accessed easily. That's before you add in all the normal map PvP areas with objectives and keeps to capture, which effect how the capital city works (it expands! adding new dungeons quest etc etc etc) It is cut from the same slab of stone as WoW, but it adds what WoW should have added a long time ago!
sounds interesting rob, but im done with all mmog's there just too damn repetitive and imo never worth the money.
from now on the most people i'll play with is 32 (which includes most wow p servers :P)
I've never seen Guild Wars being advertised alot or being converse up alot though.
