Okay, well i've only been playing this game for less than 24 hours, and I can already answer all your problems.
The reason you're seeing 999 ping is because YOU'RE the one who's lagging, not them.
Yes, you see yourself at 0 ping all the time, no matter what. You have to have someone else tell you your ping if you want to find out how bad your lagging.
In-game, watch out for laggers. If you die all of a sudden, a lagger killed you. Hurrah for bugs in the system. But what can you expect from a game that has only launched 1 week ago? :P
i found someone else with the problem. we both have routers. he told me to forward port 7700 on my router so im going to try that. just giving a tip for anyone else with this problem with a router. http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
crap is server down???
coz when i try log in it does nothing...
and log in button gets stuck...
same here, i thought i was the only one having that prob, only thing we can do is wait, but there is a good thing on the whole thing: we dont have the problem with full servers

It's back up if anyone was wandering :D might aswell go try but for me I have too wait till early hours of the morning or sit here for an hour... trying to get in lol.

sigh... it is currently pointless to play this game, it is near impossible to get into the server, and once you get in, it is as laggy as hell... There are official forms, check the official website, they updated recently... sooo yeah...
I'm currently stopping playing this until the server status improoves...
For anyone that ran into the same problem as me, supposedly this game uses port 7770... so open that one up in your firewall.
this game doesnt really lag... usually its you who lags...
not the server...
but server is crashing...
