It's a chatroom for really young kids. As in the ages of like 8-13. At this age (especially under like 12/13) I think that the kids shouldn't be on forums or anything of the sort. If they just stuck to Habbo Hotel or things like neopets, where kids of their age are, they would never be mocked. But seeing as they are here, where most people are older than they are and therefore believe themselves to be superior (and technically are if you look at matureness, wisdom and knowledge) so therefore the Habbo users are the youngest and least knowledgable group here. This leaves them open to easy criticism especially since they are used to writing in gibberish to each other which makes them look retarded,

While i agree with the fact that habbo users tend to have an IQ easily below 60 "an tork lyk diz xD!!!" not all users fall under that brand - Having been in the habbo 'community' myself its just as diverse as any other game community out there, 90% idiotic teenagers and 10% intelectual people having real discussions as well as the 'Coders' and 'Hackers' (known as 'scripters' in habbo) along with the scriptkiddies thinking they're scripters/coders and so on.

And as for your 'waste of money' thing its exactly the same as any game where you pay money.

WoW You pay money to play the game yet people still do it fine yet you get no REAL reward from playing it Except enjoyment - Which is exactly the same as any other game.

It just appeals to different peoples personal taste - People who play WoW enjoy the feeling of 'triumph' when you reach a high level or complete a boss, have good gear etc.

Habbo goes to the same tastes just for when you're "rich" or "popular" or "win competitions".

At least habbo doesn't MAKE you pay for anything - its entirely possible to become 'rich' and so on without paying anything by doing compettions and then trading/selling your items to get better ones.

Habbo Hotel is filled with hackers now just waiting for the right second to scam you! I used to play when I was 12-13 but now that I've matured it has just gotten plain stupid.

EDIT : I also think its stupid to just keep wasting time and money on a video game that gets you no where in life except the makers richer. I mean there has to be kids out there that spend every hour of there lives playing that and wasting $100 a week. Possibly more!
