Looking for a new MMORPG

Looking for a new challenge.

Anybody recomend anything? I've played and enjoyed legend of mir and myth of soma in the past. I'm looking for a new game though, I'd prefer a decent private server, but I'll pay so long as its no more than say 9quid a month. Download wise, nothing over a gig please? Pc specs wise mines a:
1.8ghz
750mb ram
128mb nvidia FX5200 gfx
Broadband connection.

So.... any recomendations? Please no private server owners saying "come join my server its soooooooooooo good" I want opinions from the people who play these games.

honestly most games these days clearly pass over 1024 megs, I suggest playing Lineage 2 :) preferrably the Official RZ servers

www.SilkRoadOnline.net = Great game, in beta yet FREE Forever!, Fully 3D and alot of quests to do always.

www.Anarchy-Online.com = HUGE game. One of the biggest and best MMO's on the market today. It is Free to play AND pay 2 play. Anarchy-Online Classic is 100% free. It gives you a nice taste of the AO world. But, if you want to get serious. You need to subscribe. But the good thing is, if you're looking for a cheap, yet good game to play. This is the game for you. 9.99$ or 12.99$ US a month, REAL cheap. And personally, it's worth it. Goto the site and look at the kickass features of the expansions available. Really intense.

I'm going to have to agree with Gatekeeper. A lot of the 3D games all go past 1 gig (100% sure Silkroad listed by vendaku goes past it), leaving mostly 2D games. You can try Redmoon private servers, it's old school 2D and fun (Atleast for me... it was my first MMORPG).

Hehe stop trying to say silkroad is so good I played it a lot and there is absolutly nothing special about it and yeas I was a very high level in it you could ask mario_party he would always see me online and was like you play to much. Silk road is just an other game that is on the ok list but a for anarchy online is total crap and its totaly outdated there is so much better out there.

Ok and now for the topic the best games are all p2p since if you want good game play and new updates often you gota pay for it T.T
Sadly that is the fact but evrysingle game that wasnt boring has been posted on rz online gameing section if yu would move your own butt and go look at the old topics you would see all teh other games. I personaly tryed almost evry single game that was ever posted in there since I joined exept for a few that I missed and I realized that all the games that are free and mmorpg get boring very fast its the same thing over and over again and in a few of them some small pk wich isnt very well made. One of the best games for pk at this moment would definetly be rfo but its p2p and it just came out if you want to play this game you got to go buy it in your local game store depending on where you live if your in the states you can go buy it now (France aswell) but all of europ should finish having them put in stores some time next week.
So all the games the other ppl posted was arledy posted lower so topics like this is totaly pointless it just shows your lazy.
So I hope next time you will go and scrolle down and click on next page to see what there is Oo is that to hard?
And the good games should have a lot of replies.
I seen this kind of topic posted several times now and think that you guys should stop asking silly questions like this and move your own butts!!!!!!!!!!
That would be very nice for evrybody.
And last of all recently not meny games have been coming out and that could be a good thing wich means they are not wasting there time making silly games you would gat board on but taking there time to make somthing original.

Silkroad IS a great game. It's also still in beta btw.

As for anarchy-online, out-dated? Lol...no. :/. It's a sci-fi based game and lots of people like it, some don't. Meh, but don't call it out-dated when it's not. There's many games that people play that is out-dated. Mu, RO, Ultima Online. All those bullshit games :P. AO came out only a few years back i believe, not sure tbh. ALOT of features in it and that's what i like.

Hay I belive after having played anarchy online for over a year that I can say if its outated or not.
Im so rich in silkroads that you probly canot imagin and its definetly not special and compare to all the new games thos to cant even compete. And with the new sci fi games that are gona be released soon ppl will wonder what where they doing in anarchy online.

You can only say things on games if you have played them a lot I still play silkroads but I dont consider it one of the best.
Btw when I started playing silk roads there where only 2 other players conected besdes me and after all the ppl came in Oo
So I belive I have the right to say what I did say.
And defending games is kinda noobish its liek ppl telling me maple storey and mu are the best games ever they just piss me off >.>

btw, do you want under a gig due to download limits, or HDD space restrictions? cos the Mir2 client is only 600mb zipped, but from memory, i think it excedes 1gig once unpacked. i personally prefer L2 to mir2, but L2 is over a gig. but if the gig limit is cos of bandwidth issues, i think you can buy L2 and just put the RZ server patch on it (not sure exactly, but i think you can do that)

and gabrieth, stop argueing. i hate all the games you guys posted (especially tibia) but you dont see me flaming you guys do u?

well wow, but somepeople would die to play others just hate it( its hard to level and costs over £9 i think)

easy to get the controls and get a high level
anarchy online looks good, never played it my self tbh but its good
Swg is £7 a month or something but its getting worse but i suggest you play the 10day free trial, its just over 1gig

If you want to pay to play a game and realy like pk try RF online on the codemaster server I played on it as soon as I got my beta key and couldnt stop its nothing to do with the privet servers you will find here.

And I still think Anerchy online is gay .. L2 is like a million times better.

try learning Slashshot, you will pwn the noobies with it!
Once you get the hang of it you pwn high lvls to.
Currently i am lvl 13 and i play on server3, and you ^_^??

If you play gunz I would recomend that you use a shot gun I used a dagger but some ppl like the katana since you get a lot more moves with it but I use the dagger so I can buy better secondary guns well just with the shot gun and a few simple moves you can hurt bad ><.
Important thing in this game is to use evrything you can walls decoration ...

Gunz is boring, AO and Tibia are crap, the only thing which interests me nowadays are 2D games, all 3D games seem to be same old boring grind lvl do a few boring quests pay die quit go back waste more of your life just to commit suicide, or you can stay on 1 game and look like a noob on all the others =)
