Don't jump in like crazy, like I did.
I bought the limited collector's edition or whatever...and now I'm kinda stuck with it. The gameplay is kind of slow for my taste, but I haven't reached level 50 obviously...so I guess I'll have to soldier on through it...

You're in a better position, check out the beta first, see what it has to offer and then decide.

Personally...had I checked the beta before buying it, I probably wouldn't get it...but now I'm stuck with it...we'll see I guess.

question: what happens after beta?
1) characters stay?
2) all data wiped?
3) characters stay, stats wiped?

i havent looked yet, but im checkin out the site for an answer.

This is a P2P not a free MMORPG. Free MMORPG usually want to keep their players by saving the characters and stats.

well I played it for a few hours its pretty decent but there's no way I'll pay to play it. I'll wait for the private servers to come up

good point didn't think of that before! now that you mention it i've only played one free open beta -> p2p game that did keep stats. that was savage eden...my first MMO lol.
