[PC/360/PS3] Oh Oblivion - what's your favorite quest in the game?

I know you guys have played oblivion (I'm playing it again cause of console mess-ups), what's your favorite quest in the game? Right now mine is a contract in the assassin guild where you have to....well....you're in a house with 5 other people. would want to spoil it, but you can probably guess what you have to do :P

I've just recently reinstalled it and got totally hooked. Aside from the infamy that comes with it, I love the Dark Brotherhood quest path more than any other I've played so far. That house quest was probably one of the best, yeah :)

I've done all of them (and stopped at the mage's arcne university thing cause I'm not one) and assassin's guild is the BEST (the storyline) which doesn't mean the rest suck mind you (thief's guild is great ...kinda surprised me... and the fighter's guild has a nice climax.

Shaun I greatly recommend doing the daedric statues but STAY AWAY from the daedric statue of the statue and his dog. You'll thank me later. (sure it may keep you from getting the last item from the last statue, but we're talking about one of the strongest swords in the game here)

what's funny is the first time around played the game I was doing quests without starting them.

I've seen that statue but haven't activated it, so I'll keep that in mind. The only daedric quest I've done so far is for Azuras Star (the soul gem type artifact). In the main storyline I'm at the point where I have to acquire a deadric artifact and give it to martin, so I'll end up finding myself a statue with a crappy item I have no use for.

Personally I love the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines. I'm playing Oblivion again since i never actually beat it all and its a great game.

The thieves guild last quest was a pain (getting a elder scroll from the palace) and a surprising twist at the end ah the house with 5 people just like the 10 little indians who is the murder? You have to be the last one to live to know :winky:

None of the quest are that fun to be honest. All of them are kind off short except the main one. The one that I enjoyed the most was probably Thieves Guild Quests and one of the final quests for the main quest line where you have to steal the book from the library. Since I had a low sneak level, and I am a heavy armor specialist it was kinda hard but I had patience to sneak to the top and since I didn't use quides I went back the way I came in getting caught several times. But now people tell me you could have simply jumped.

Nights of the Nine is an excellent expansion quest. Bought it long time ago and beat it too. Unlike other quests it has allot of thinking involved and a deep story line as well. One of my favorites.

The Dark Brother Hood quest was a great one and so is the main one for Shivering Isles. Shame I can't continue playing as the TV is in the repair shop and the loaner doesn't even have standard composite hook ups.
