I've taken it that you have yet to play a large conquest map. Operation Metro is the only map I've seen that you cannot really snipe on. Everything else is just fine. Play Firestorm or Boarder Crossing and tell me those maps are too small...

RPGs are so obvious. If you see one coming at you then run away. They will only kill you in about 10m. Trust me, I play engineer and there is no free kills with the RPGs. You have to get lucky of find a large group of people to dump a rocket into and hopefully you'll get a kill. Most of the time if you try to use the RPGs on people you will get shot in the face.

As for tanks, it's always been like that. The engineer class is designed to fix and destroy tanks. So obvious they are due to them. And they are more then just machine guns. The cannon lets you blast through walls to uncover machine gunners and snipers and also they are to be used to take out other land vehicles. They are more then just machine guns. If you are good enough they get some amazing upgrades like homing missiles and canister shots.

Been playing this since it came out and I have to say, hot damn, I absolutely love it. I've never played BF until the BF3 BETA was released and to be quite honest I fell in love almost immediately. I pre-ordered BF3 literally 5 or so games into the BETA.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little disappointed with the jets to say the least. It's one of the main reasons I bought the game. I'm a huge CoD fan and they don't incorporate vehicles, so I was keen to try out some vehicle warfare.

The campaign was okay I guess, I'm not really one who plays campaigns much though, so I guess I'm not really affected.

MP is brilliant, nuff said.

I have spent $30 on this. I loved every other BF game but this.

I can't agree more. Im playing Battlefield since BF 1942. And this version is the most terrible ever. The beta was horrible. Massive lagg and so many bugs.
Dice/EA told us, they fixed all bugs from the beta. Well, like 90% of the bugs are still in the retail version.

Let's hope the next big update will fix a lot of bugs!

ps. Looking forward to the new map pack that is released in december. Wake Island FTW! =D

I just finished the campaign for Battlefield 3 just a little while ago. I love the game, I just hate how I am running into so many problems trying to play multiplayer. :(

I am only going to download it, if it's going to impress me, literally, then I'll buy it.

Yes, there are a bunch of issues, but I still have a shitload of fun playing with two mates.

Fuck playing the multiplayer solo, I usually just ragequit because of absolutely shit teammates. I know it sounds cocky but when I play with my three mates, we just carry the whole team on our backs, with a few exceptions sometimes.

Hahaha, same here. I bought my own BF3 server yesterday just so I could get a gang of my friends to play with me at the same time with low ping since it's located so close to us.

None the less, Battlefield 3 is awesome and I can't wait for the expansion pack.

Same, I mean: new maps, guns and vehicles all in one map pack!
