Its so hard to say really...most of the best games period have been on PC.
But personaly..the best games i've played are:

CS:S
C&C: Zero Hour
Quake 3 Arena
And all the Tribes games (I fucking LOVE Tribes)

Tux racer= teh greatest fukin game to ever appear on linux + hot graphics - ugly menu = teh greatest fukin game to ever appear on linux with hot graphics
minesweeper= game made by fucktards for fucktards = teh perfect game for me :P
