I played multiplayer beta and the demo, and I found the multiplayer much better than the solo mode. I dont know but the AI is not really smart and yea except the graphics, I'm quite disapointed. Waiting Far Cry 2 and maybe Crysis 2.

Did the demo ... looks ok, but I didn't really like it.
my computer can't run it lol. When I clicked the "optimize settings" in the options for crysis, it said "warning, setting everything to LOW" xD. I am buying a new computer, though. mmm new computer xD and just for this too (well I want to play hl2, fear, oblivion, etc. on high settings :P)
Would be awesome if it said "Dude, did you really think you could play this game on that piece of shit?"
Anyway my brother got it, still need to see it though, i wonder how it will work on a 7900GT.
The game is full of bugs.
They should've put more time in the physics.
Fighting games are becoming boring and boring.
There's nothing special in current and incoming fighting games.
What's coming better ? Graphic ? Music ? and ? Nothing else.
There is always same point - defeat as many monsters as you can. Kill as many people as you can.
I know, I know - this type of games is based on killing and reaching maximum score, but why the hell it is so boring ? Quests are always based on:
"Get xx item from xx"
"Kill xx monster xx times"
and nothing else.
What else can I say ?
Nothing's special.
Crisis sux.
It will look awesome. The game on low settings looks bloody amazing. Just when you crack it up higher and higher it becomes even more amazing.
What's wrong the the physics engine? It's bloody amazing. Everything is interactive in this game.
So what's wrong with it?
What are you talking about?
1) It's not a fighting game. It's a 1st person action game.
2) This isn't a quest based MMO
Why not actually look at the game and you'll know what it is. Then how about playing it.
NoPeace - out
Going back to what NoPeace said...All first releases have bugs and problems, theres no exceptions...that i know of. And there is no argueing how good this game looks.
Yeah they're expiring, i got a 6800 GT myself, it's 1 amazing card, but it's also like 4-5 years old, so it's pretty damn impressive that you can still play almost any game with it.
Umm... What settings?
I can get those same FPS when I turn 4xAA on with at 14x9 res and DX10. :1:
This is on dual 8800GTXs @ Ultra speed. ;)
Settings matter when you say your performance. :icon6:
You know there's a difference between having the ability to just play the game and to play the game at recommended settings.
Like with Crysis. It's an amazing game, but if you can't meet recommended settings then in my opinion it's not worth it.
It's a game based on max visual ecstasy and if you can't do it the gameplay just don't hold up too well.
The same goes with Oblivion. If you can't play that game at recommended settings I wouldn't bother.
You just can't get the full experience from these games without it.
Now for a game like CnC3 it's a whole new story. You can play that game on crap hardware and still get the full effect out of it. Same goes for most MMOs and RPGs.
FPS games in general need the recommended settings because you just can't get the full effect without it.
Don't believe me? Try playing Doom 3 with out the recommended hardware. Or try any other shadow based game. :icon6:
NoPeace - out
True, but take Oblivion for example, i can run that game on medium-high settings on 1360x768 which makes it look really quite good, you got the grass and shadows and all that, ofcourse with a high end card now it looks a lot better, but on mine it still looks great.
But yeah games need to get played on atleast medium settings with a stable framerate, anything less is a waste, might aswell wait with the game and play it when you upgrade.
They have already stated that crysis will be a trilogy
Crysis may be a trilogy... but look forward to far-cry 2 when that comes out! Take a look at some of the screenshots on ign or somewhere. Looks AMAZING :D
