this deck looks pretty good: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/57818...end-f2p-shammy
The cards I would get first are in this order:
- Earth Shock x2
- Lightning Bolt x2
- Feral Spirit x1
- Lightning Storm x1
- Azure Drake x2
- Unbound Elemental x2
- Defender of Argus x2
- Argent Squire x2
- Argent Commander x2
- Feral Spirit x1
- Lightning Storm x1
- Mana Tide Totem x1
- Doomhammer x1
Also, play arena a lot. If you get atleast 3 wins, you can get a card pack and two random prizes (usually gold, but that gold is around 70-100). For more information on arena

A few questions from a noob.
Is silence good because I have not come in a situation where I could do with a silence.
Is windfury not that good as it isn't in many high level decks.
Argent commander is a 6 mana card but it is only a 4/2, is divine shield and charge worth it?
I am not very good with arena because I don't know what is good in different decks and what cards to take.

- Silence is very good. It removes: Taunts, Deathrattles, Buffs, Divine Shield, and other types of effects. There are times where silence can be bad to use (when some monsters on your opponent side have "Can't Attack." If you silence them, they will be able to attack)
- Windfury is good and bad. Its good when you have a monster on the field. Its bad when you dont have a monster on the field (that can use it). Most of the time (when Ive used it), its for finishing an opponent. Its usually a dead card for me, meaning I always draw it in the wrong situation
- Its debatable whether this card is good in a shaman's deck. For me, this card is really good in situations when you need to remove some monsters. The shield will take the damage and you still have a 4/2 minion on the field, which the opponent will have to turn his/her attention to. You could also use wind fury on this card. At turn nine, with windfury + Argent + rockbiter, you can do 14 damage to the opponent.
- http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone...s-spreadsheets use this to help you out. Arena is not bad. Its actually better than all the modes in the game, since you get the card pack (which you pay 100 gold for) + and extra prize (most of the time gold, but you end up with more than you used when you entered arena. I have yet to finish arena with less gold; start with 150 and end up with 200+ gold).

I really do need to do some more reading into this game as I didn't know silence literally silenced any effects. Thanks for the great site as well, will really help me with arena.
Re: [PC] Hearthstone - open beta card game from blizzard
I love it when people make foolish mistakes.
Paladin vs Paladin.
He had a True Silver Champion with 2 duration
He had 3x 1/1 minions, 1 of them being an Argent Squire with Holy Shield up.
Had had 2 cards and 5 health.
I had a 1/1 minion, 0 cards and 12 health.
So what does he do? Goes full attack on my character and does 7 damage, leaving me with 5, but with my minion up...
Got myself a True Silver Champion and bitch slapped his ass.
I seriously did not get that play, with so much board control, why not trade 1 of them to take away all my kill potential, ok so this card was the only way I could have won, but he didn't know if I had a blessings of kings in my deck. So he took a huge risk, while he could have just traded and wouldn't have increased his chance of dying (holy wrath would have done the job as well). What I found most about it, is that he was playing the Paladin himself, with TSC and Blessings of Kings, so he should have known that I could have played either for the win if he left the minion up.
Re: [PC] Hearthstone - open beta card game from blizzard
I just opened a pack and got a card called Doomsayer its a 2 mana card 0/7 and "at the start of your turn destroy all minions." It is actually worth putting this card into my deck I couldn't find many good decks with it in but does seem like an effective board clear. Also, if it destorys all minions does that include itself or not.

I agree. The easiest way to win a game is to control the number of minions an opponent has on the field. Of course there are exceptions, where no one has minions, but that doesnt occur a lot (miracle rogues and decks with only charge monsters).

The card is not really useful, imo, within a shamans deck, since your hero power summons minions, but its helpful when you have no minions. It does make you only play one minion, which makes you limited to moves that turn. It does destroy itself.
I believe it is a dead card (silence destroys its purpose and the opponent can deal with it most of the time)
Re: [PC] Hearthstone - open beta card game from blizzard
It all depends if there is a valid tactic. I had a game earlier where I had 2 minions up and he did, mine were actually lower health ones, but could take them both out (2/1 and 3/2 vs 1/1 and 2/1). Now very few people will trade that with the higher damage, so I hit him and left them up, he did some damage and put out another minion, and bam, 4 mana, consecration time.
He couldn't have done anything that would have been bad, if he had traded, I would have won due to the earlier damage, if he had buffed, I would have still cleared the board with the 2 minions and consecration. In this case he did his hero power and played another minion, which I expected, and bitch slapped him.
I now run a Paladin deck with a lot of charge and spell damage, it's so easy to clear, because that 3/2 will be instantly cleared by my 2/1 charge murloc etc.

Damn I shouldn't be reading this tread it makes me want to play :D
Re: [PC] Hearthstone - open beta card game from blizzard
Leeroy Jenkins... my god this card is op as hell. With my rogue, I can deal 6-14 damage with him in one turn. Its amazing how much damage I do in one turn; the last two games I played prior to this post were won by jenkins + cold blood x1. I wonder how they are going to nerf him; maybe they are going to make him 5/2 ? Not sure what they will do to him, but I see him in a lot of decks and he has become my favorite card. Worth the 1600 dust :P:
Legendary Cards I own now:
- Edwin Vancleef
- Leeroy Jenkins
- King Mukla
- Harrison Jones
I disenchanted The Beast (for Leeroy) and Baron Geddon (for some rares like Argent Commander)

Just saw a random video, had to share. So brilliant! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy1BZF0V_5E
First play was boring, but the others... :D

Re: [PC] Hearthstone - open beta card game from blizzard
Not really. You took a risk. He used spells that would destroy his own minion before he could even use it, effectively doing absolutely nothing.
