Ok that's completely , sorry to say, but you ruined that character big time.
You see, the more endurance you got, the more life you get each time you lvl up, you will want to get this stat maxed as fast as you can. Everytime you lvl up you get 10% of your Endurance, if you got 100 then you get 10 life, you get 8 life now, and i'm guessing it was lower for a long time aswell, which means that at your lvl you could have had 150+ life more.
As for which game is better, i would have to say Morrowind, Oblivion has it's strong points, but it has a lot more weak points, you can pretty much only get good equipment if you are high enough, enchanting is boring, all stats are fixed (like with a grand soulgem everything gets 10 str no matter what quality the item is), there are a lot of enchants you can't do (like constant summoning effect), and there are only a few items you can enchant, in Morrowind you had lots you could enchant.
The whole armor system is crap aswell, you can't wear cloths under your armor, and there is no unarmored skill anymore.
Ofcourse Oblivion does have it's good points, i like fast travel to a certain degree, you can cast while holding a weapon and well it looks way better.
Although the graphics aren't nearly as good as it should have, i run Oblivion with a Geforce 6800 GT, so i got the settings on pretty nicely (my brother who has a 7900GT has the same complaints btw), but when you are outside and you look beyond the part that the PC loaded, then the textures look like , it's why people made mods like this

The water is also a huge dissapointment, the water cuts right off when the ground starts again, it looks completely unrealistic, and they are idiots for doing that, unlike them, CryTek did actually do it right back in 2004.
http://www.ngohq.com/images/articles...s/FarCry-1.jpg that water really moves over the ground like normal water would do.
So although Oblivion is for the most part stunning and has a nice gameplay, Morrowind is simply better.
