[PC]Pirates of the Caribbean: Online !

Disney has recently released a game called 'Pirates of the Caribbean Online'.
It's based on the well known movies, but not completly, as there still is allot to be added, updates come by the day.

In the game, you can create a pirate with a name (and second name) chosen from a list, OR you can fill in a name yourself, but that takes ~1 day approval.
Due to the recent release, the 'Unlimited Access' is 50% off ($5 instead of $10), but theres ofcourse also a free version, but imo its much less fun.

I didnt even post half of all features, theres just so much to do! They even have a mothersday special tattoo!

You can actually OWN a boat, which is bought at the shipyard!
The boats are [not 100% correct order]: Light Sloop, Light Galleon, Light Frigate, Sloop, Frigate, Galleon, War Sloop, War Galleon, War Frigate(= best ship).
Sloops have theire quickness, but are not as strong, while galleons are abit slow, but they have 9 broadsides (you'll get what thatis in the game) on each side, and the galleon types carry the most cargo and crew, thus you can earn more, frigates are the real warships, medium speed, high firing rate, but less cargo space.

About weapons:
You start the game with a little tutorial, and after that you can get your cutlass from Will Turner, who is hidden in a warehouse (every quest goal is pointed out by a ray of light / a yellow arrow on your compass).
When you've done some quests, you'll be pointed to sail for 'Devils' Anvil' and enter 'Barbosa's Hideout' where you are given: a pistol!. Further weapons are: Voodoo dolls (perfect for hit and run attacks), Daggers (throwing and melee), Explosives (grenades, etc.) 'The' Voodoo Staff (massive voodoo spell damage).

You can go level up with each weapon, which unlocks a skill point, and on some levels you can unlock a new skill with a skill point!
The current level cap for weapons is 25, but you can max. get 26 skill pts.
The 'main level' of your character is called 'Notoriety', you can earn Notirierty points mostly by questing, but you also get them from killing monsters / sinking enemy ships.

A little about the ships:
On every ship there are 'broadsides' which the captain can fire in 'sailing mode', but there are also cannons on deck.
These cannons can be manned by a crew, which can fire besides the broadsides.
When you are sailing, and sink a ship with your broadsides, you gain 'exp' (reputation points) in the Sailing Skill, and you can get skill points and skills with that too. Same goes for cannons, but at certain levels you can fire better ammo with your cannons!
A crew can be gathered on land, by just inviting people to it (you can do that while not wearing a weapon, just left click on the persons character).

Defiantly not, the game is imo in no way childish.

Lolz you can play poker of blackjack at the taverns.. thats not so childish ^^

Oh nice. Imma deffinatly give it a go then. I thought it looked great before but when i read reviews they said it was for kids so i thought nahh. But it its not then imma deffo give it a try!

Is there like servers or w/e? so we can play on same server.

Update: They've added some ghost ships, and future updates will contain custom broadsides, sails, etc!

Wow this looks pretty cool. :D I've been itching to play a pirate MMO for a while, I might give this one a try.

i didnt like the game, but the ship battle is very epic, but it's a pain to find an enemy ship and attacking it. i gave that game a 7/10
