I finished downloading it too.
It's way better, but seems to stumble on my GOOD computer.
It takes a lot of CPU power and GPU power.
No problems on mine.
If you have the patients to 'fullfil' your sims dreams then this is the game for you. Other than that, its just like any sim game.
A part from the loading moments like Sims 2 had when you visited other places (park, graveyards, shopping mall etc)
You also cannot see inside the buildings(like malls, your job place etc) other than other peoples houses.
Won't say much, just incase of un-wanted spoilers.
Yeah I'm lagging like crazy even on low settings, and I run smooth on games that require much more than this game. Weird.
Yeah, it's leaked. I have it on my computer I played it a little bit. Not mind blowing, it's just great.
FYI, this game takes almost nothing to run.

I mean dont get me wrong, the sims 3 is awesome. But I like the oldies best.

Got a genuine English copy before it's released, and it's better than what I expected. Seems like the genuine copies run decent on a good PC (2GB RAM recommended, that's what I have and it runs great, even with an NVIDIA 8400 GS).
