That's me. (:
Wow this game could end your life. Which means fail
not sure why this game is such over rated, its not even that good, it aint even addiciting.. can someone tell me one good reason why i should play this game p2p servers or private servers?
Never played retail since i was a BETA tester when WoW was first released many years ago, But thinking of starting with Josh and my GF. pservers are extremely lame for WoW considering the amount of bugs they have... will pay for a few months and see how i go.
Offtopic:if you like games like WoW you can try http://www.dungeonrunners.com/
made by Ncsoft i just saw it today looks like WoW to me
OnTopic: ive never really played WoW and P2P is not my kinda thing
playing a MMORPG thats free its basely P2P lol as it is already
i dont like having a deadline crunch to get to a certain lvl at the end of the month lol.
I used to play EU, Bronze Dragonflight, but i gave it up a while ago.
When i have a choice, i prefer p2p rather than f2p. why? Because with P2P, i know that any bugs or issues will be fixed fast. I know that it is constantly being upgraded. I know that the game will not die tomorrow. i know that if there are any issues not being fixed, i can use the "if this is not fixed, then i am leaving" approach, and it WILL mean something to them, because not only will they be losing a player, they will be losing money. P2P games are of te highest quality and the support is always excellent.
With f2p... they rely on ads. Or they rely on people buying items. Then the people who buy items become stronger than the rest... ruins the game. The game will lag because they have lesser servers due to budget problems. The graphics are buggy or the skills are buggy for months on end because they see no urgency in getting it fixed. I have seen f2p games literally disappear within 24 hours, because they lacked funding and players.
Used to be hooked on WoW, it was an unhealthy addiction though. I'd love to play it again, but games wise, I have a very addictive personality!
Playing on Daggerspine with Josh and my GF. We are currently lvl 20 after 3 days of playing (4 hours a day?) so i think we're doing alright. Josh is protection pally, my GF is a destruction warlock, i'm a shadow priest.
Sounds like a very nice leveling group, very easy to jump into any dungeons although you will have to heal instead of dps rish :P. Are you by any chance using the recruit-a-friend system?
My work is cut out for me, i'm having to DOT the mobs + heal pally... but with lock's voidwalker as a 2nd tank, we're doing just fine. Just hit lvl 22 today lol, could have gone to 23 imo but josh had to leave so we just ended up sitting in TB for an hour :P
And what is the recruit-a-friend system?
Hehe, I tried to level a priest recently, I struggled without any help and I've been playing for a long time. Its a lot better when you get shadowform I hear.
Also the recruit-a-friend system is when you can invite a friend, relative, etc. To join the game with you for 10 days, you get 3x XP when your partied together which includes quest XP. After the 10 days you need your friend to purchase the box though so I'm guessing since your 22 you already own the box.
The good part is though. I was going to recommend that you start another character when you hit 60 if you we're using the system, because its hard to go back to normal XP once you have experienced 3x.
