The PS3 has a 7800 chip, the 360 has a chip that was never put on a videocard and is more powerful then the x1900gt.
The 360 chip has technology that was developed for the next ATI cards, so it's something in between those cards. It is definitely superior to the nvidia chip.
They know how the graphics work by now, there isn't much they can do anymore. With titles like MGS4 where they take out everything they can, they simply won't be able to improve really on that.Quote:

Not really being pushed back, but CoD4 would've been released earlier (but Infinity Ward wanted to make a true non port game for the PS3.) if they didn't make it for the PS3.

tho it is true that its allot harder to code for the ps3 1 of the reasons being that the cpu is so advanced compared to the other platforms

I own a 360, and I would say go with a PS3, I have had enough problems with my 360 like the controller disconnects all the time, so I had to put tape on the back to hold the battery
pack in ON THE FIRST DAY I bought my 360, so that ticked me off, my 360 crashed within the first month I had it, and my headset always gets unplugged by like the tiniest pull, but PS3 not having a lot of people with headsets, well I wouldnt have bought online if it was for talkin to people, I cant just play a game alone, but yet again you would get rid of all those trash talking 8 year old kids who come online just to piss you off by annoying you on your headset.

Ok I did a poll from people in my school, asked all 14 of them who own a 360, how many of them have send theirs to repair. out of 14 of them amazingly (I know this must be LUCK) none of them had. out of 14 of them, 3 had their 360 less than 1 year. The failure rate is old news now, if you go to the xbox forum or gamespot OR IGN, nobody is complaining about anymore
Rather buy XBOX360 then PS3.
