@gooble prototype isn't worth to buy it (got it for PC...and i'm glad that i downloaded it lol)

i'll take a look on other games which will come out soon...and which were shown at the gamescom in germany....hope there r some good ones

I can only hope they put better production into making a better Socom xD I personally haven't tried Confrontation, although all of the people I used to play 1/2/3/CA say it really isn't that great.

Something i would add is that me and my bro both have P3s and both have had the blue ray disc player crap out on us, mine was under warranty so Sony fixed it. My bros warranty just expired a month beforehand. The tech guy where my Bro ordered his new blue ray for his P3 had told him that this wasnt uncommon with the P3s cause sony built them with short lifespan blue rays. So dont think the P3 doesnt have its problems.

i think i gonna buy a Xbox 360 with the RROD and gonna fix it then...but i will buy a PS3 later too, if they'll will go down with their price...
did any1 fix the RROD already? i saw few tutorials which should work(judging by the comments)...a workmate did fix it too..but i wanna try it by myself :p

Ive fixed RROD myself and also fixed broken DVD drives myself , its rather simple when following a guide.

Just buy an arcade, they're dirt cheap!

arcade cost about 100€...and thats too much already! a RROD-Box costs about 20-40€

I would recommend xbox blatently because no online lag, aswell as it supports 1080p for many more games than ps3's so what if its blue ray shit quality 720p looks so stretched out on hd 50" tv. The xbox does not have many rrod's anymore aswell as there has been no reports of the rrod on the jasper models. Also theres more fuctionality on the xbox 360 interface such as party chats while in game. Believe me at first i thought xbox's are shit since i was previously a Playstation fan. but the xbox 360is so much better.

Exactly, that's why I prefer the Xbox.

But you know MGS Rising is coming out for Xbox too? T_T

PS3: free online, amazing graphics, there's a new PS3 out, except now it's a "PlayStation3" not a "PLAYSTATION3". Its just thinner and such, and a helluva lot cheaper <-- check it out.

One downside to PS3's though, is that NOONE has a mic. Try playing COD4/5, and there's like 2-3 people in a room that has a mic. On Xbox (I own both) everyone has a mic.

hmhmhm! i wait till september and gonna look how's the PS3 going so far...after that i'll maybe buy one! and then i gonna buy a ROD-Box and repair it! would be the cheapest/best idea.

and well, i won't play shooter games on a ps3/xbox...coz i got the PC for that...so i dun need a mic :p same goes for the online mode....just dun need it

PS3. Xbox controllers are fat and ps3 is awesome on a hdtv, free online, massive memory

360. Mainly it has a disc tray i use for personal reasons...
Umm i guess also 360 looks sexy but ps3 has some awesome looking games (e.g Killzone 2, that reistance game or something and lbp ofcourse :p)
The only decent exclusives for 360 are Gears of war series and fable 2 (i missed halo 3 out on purpose.. it sucks)
I'm gonna say 360 because i don't have a ps3 and will probably never get one :D
Oh yea and the controllers aren't fat just the ps3 controllers are anorexic
