PS3 or Xbox 360?

PS3: better specs/hardware, few awesome games, decent online network...free, blu-ray player

Xbox 360: still really good graphics, huge game library, huge online network...monthly fee

i own a ps3. i love the few games i have for it, but i am disappointed there arent many available that i think are worth playing. i love RPGs and there just arent many that appeal to me on the PS3. unsure about the 360 on that aspect.

oh and even thought i own the original playstation, original playstation 2, original ps3 (even have a slim psp), and have never owned an xbox...i love the 360 controller more. i just think its a better setup for FPS and Racing games.

Ps3 ir better on price :-/

bought a ps3! and it's soo awsome <3 i luv the blu-ray player, and the graphic is just great!! i'll buy few games tomorrow...2 aren't enough xd

My personal choice would be the 360, as I have already owned a PS3 and I was pretty unsatisfied with what I had.

The PS3 boasts a Blu-Ray Player for High definition gaming, yet when I had a PS3 the graphics weren't any better than my 360's. I saw no notable difference, both produce just as fine quality graphics.

The PS3 has been reduced in price to £250 GBP for the 120GB model, but for £200 GBP you can get the 360 Elite with 120GB HDD space.

The PS3 does have an advantage over the 360 with its free online network service and built-in wireless, but £40 per year for, in my opinion, a far better online service on the 360 is worth it. And you don't necessarily have to have wireless anyways, cable works just as well.

The PS3 has a stronger processor than the 360 does, but Blu-Ray technology is pretty new and I picked up from a reliable source that Blu-Ray games require to be loaded onto the disc 3 times to guarantee it's loaded onto the disc. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, it would explain why my PS3 wasn't any faster than my 360. I'll always remember GTA IV loading slower on my PS3.

It's personal choice really, we could all bombard you with facts and statistics but it's your choice if you want a big black box or a big noisy white elephant.

i go with xbox,

well, it's just the 80gb-version, but it's okay (gonna put in a new 2,5" hdd in it) i bought it with 2 games for 280€
and i'm fine with it. the installing sucks tho'...GT5-Prologue needed 6 minutes till it was rdy lol

Hm, I'll say... Both. PS3 and XBOX360 are awesome to play many epic games.

Doesn't ps3 and xbox elite (whit out a hd cable) cost 299$ in USA and in Europe 299€ or lower?

Xbox 360

I was thinking myself of getting a ps3, but, I think you'd be better off getting an Xbox 360 like myself. There's tons of game choices and just overall I think Xbox is the winner over the PS, for now.

Umm i guess also 360 looks sexy but ps3 has some awesome looking games (e.g Killzone 2, that reistance game or something and lbp ofcourse :p)
The only decent exclusives for 360 are Gears of war series and fable 2 (i missed halo 3 out on purpose.. it sucks)
I'm gonna say 360 because i don't have a ps3 and will probably never get one :D
