Just so you know, 99% of these high bids aren't real bids. They are dummy bids made by new spam accounts in order to ruin bids. This is terribly aggravating because it requires the seller to go through a series of processes so they don't get in trouble with eBay. The seller also still has to pay for listing the item and for being unable to settle the dispute.
Yes, the idea of making money off your PS3s by selling it on eBay is genius, but let's just say some people are even smarter and even less moral than the sellers.
makeing things like these bids is for comercial reasons because u will see that on every channel on the news and that gets the companyes very very very much money and a idiot gets a $5700 PS3

I think stores are pulling a fast one on everyone ill bet that somewhere in a warehouse are tons of p3s. I believe that this is just a way of stores making more money meaning everyone runs out an buys a p3 before they drop in price. You will see it will be like the p2 all stores said limited supply but 2-3weeks later everyone who went into the store to buy a p2 also walked out with one even though they still said limited supply please ask for assisstance.A month or two later the p2 droped 100bucks hmm notice a trend.
