Are you insane?
oh holy shit I agree with you there, most games on the DS look awful (except all 1st party games and anything made by squeenix; damn they know how to make games). It's just I never like the placement and feel of the analog nub. Beggars can't be choosers :P. Because of previous "innocents" with my last three DS's and the top screen...well I think I'll be happier with a hand held that reminds me more of the GBA :)
Well i got both, and i really couldn't tell you which is better, it's definetly about taste, and ofcourse how much you can get out of it, i mean i can play every single PSX game that i want on the PSP, that adds a lot of great looking games to the PSP.
Anyway the DS is best for platform games, adventure games, puzzle games, kartracing games (gotta love Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing) and a bunch of other games, and the PSP is best for action games, racing games, fighting games etc. Both has and will have some great RPG titles, i definetly can't wait for the new FF7, that will be awesome, i'm telling you that once that game comes out, the sales will skyrocket for the PSP.
Why would i want that one when i have a normal one here? :S
they just trying to revive it one last time before it completely dies. Oh look its lighter woow. Give it a few months and they will be cutting the price along with the ps3...oooooh wait nvm
You have no idea what you are talking about, now do you? The PSP doesn't need to be revived, it's doing very well, in Europe and America it's actually matching the DS sales, it's just those crazy japanese that are buying way more DS' then PSP's.
And this update is a lot better then the 1 from Nintendo, yes the DS Lite was a huge improvement, but only because Nintendo ripped people off with the first DS, whereas Sony gave them the best they could for a normal price.
Besides it's a nice update, thinner, lighter, better battery life, faster, and best of all is that you can plug it in your TV, this is a really cool feature, and also allows parents to just buy 1 device for their kids, they can just just use it as a handheld, or as a controller for a console.
what's nice about that video out feature means you can plug it into an s-video adapter on your capture card (if you have one) and record the gameplay :D
I don't want to sound like a parrot Gohan, but I believe you're correct about the different styles of each hand held. Personally I'm more into things like action and some serious arcade racing action (as well as rpg) so this might be a nice investment (not to mention gameboy heaven )
Well i've never regretted it, and i'm glad i got the luxury to own everything in the gaming world that i want, i got everything from the last generation (except the GBA, which i can emulate on my PSP and play in my NDS), and everything except for the PS3 from this generation, which i can buy if i want to, i'm not because i think the games cost to much (no platinum titles) and there isn't much choice, so i much rather wait a year or so, the PS3 will cost less, you will have games for 30 euro and less, and there will be a big collection of games.
Nice... gunna stick wid my brick tho.. would look better if was in a new design
