To be honest with you RuneScape is the best game i have ever played. It has the most amount of quests, skills, items, and ways to make money. It is based on the economy and there is so much to do. For instance you can mine Rune Ess and use the ess to make runes with. You can chop down tree's and fletch the logs into bows. Gather flax to make bow string and put it on your bow.
You can sell the runes you have made or use them to lvl your magic. You can sell the bows you made or get more by using alchemy. Although to actually make money using these you must work your skill lvl up.
There is just tons to do. Its PVP is well balanced and there is always someone to pvp with. It is a well maintained game it has tons of servers so you don't have to wait.
If you have played it and didn't like it to bad. I don't like the graphics myself although they have made a big changed over the years. If the graphics don't bother you to much then i would play this game.
To be honest i havnt played it in years but that doesnt mean its not the best game i have played.
Knight Online
You can select between 2 races (Human or Orc) and there is 5 classes (Warrior,Rogue,Mage,Priest) but a different variety you can pick with each. The graphics are very nice and it is a fairly maintained game.
It is well known for its PVP although it isnt fun unless you are a decent level with decent gear. I would have to honestly say its PVP system is the best in any game i have ever played (I have played online games for 7-8 yrs).
Its Orc vs. Human, Warrior vs. Assassin. Each class has there own special skills to help protect them against the other class and monsters. The best part is that there is actually war between the 2 races. A couple times a week you can go to Lunar Valley ( a map in game) and it will take you to the war map. You each have your own base and the object is kinda like capture the flag but you have to kill the other races Keepers/Wards (i guess you could say guards). During the war there are hundreds of players fighting each other.
This game is all about dedication and skills. It doesnt matter if you are lvl 80 and have the best items. You can still get owned if you don't have the skill.
Conquer Online was ok i played it for a lil bit but there isnt much game play and the graphics arent that great.
Perfect World i didn't like it that much although the graphics are pretty good.
Cabal Online is a pretty good game.
2 Moons its pretty nice my friends has played it for awhile now.
Runes of Magic this game i have not tried yet but plan on it soon.
There are many more games man just use google and you will find something. You can also google warez and find you a nice warez community to join and get all the free games you want there.
look for a mmo like runescape where they force you to rely on skills to advance in game. I personally favor no mmo atm, prius even to me is childish level. I thirst for a higher mmo. I just get so bored and sick of looking i tend to fall into mu online (crap filled game), and prius (its emotional based game allowing you to see the feelings of the characters and interactions but at the same time its childish like the rest). I'll never touch wow, cuz to me it failed at being both a childish game and trying to be complex at the same time.
Combat Arms, i got insanely bored with once i was good at it, and then i hacked the living hell out of it.
Runes of Magic is ultimate fail, wont even touch it since ppl refer to it like wow, which is retarded cuz wow is a copy of another game and so on.
ultimate fail for my part since I'll never find a mmo i really can relate to. Though on one end, I suggest you play Requiem or Shiaya, both are adult like games, as adult in not being childish in the violence part of the game, and no cats with big mittens chasing you with butterknifes.

Guildwars seems pretty decent, i'll look into it.
All free fps's are crap, already have cs:s and tf2 so that isn't a problem.
Runescape is unbelievably horrible, there "graphics update" still makes the game look like some 5 year olds 10 minute job on ms paint.
