First (MMO)RPG i have ever played in a cybercafe with my friends, long time ago when i didn't have my computer. The game is a big and challenging if i can say this with loads of items, secrets, missions, quests and items. The two new updates(underworld, sacred plus) have even more new things and i am going to start playing again.

since it's playable online you can call it "MMORPG" but you can play in single player mode, you will use the characters of the single player mode. And it isn't free, the "plus" update is free.

It's a great game, I've enjoyed it immensly. It virtually is a more updated version of Diablo II, so don't get your hopes up; though, it is a mother load, yes mother load, better than the Diablo franchise.

People like you who judge games by thier graphics make me sick. So what if the graphics are "dated", it is a much better game then most of the recent rpgs that have been coming out lately. I was thinking to myself the other day, "I wish they would still make SNES-like graphic games for ps2 and the such." I just think with todays technology, they can create a 16 or 32-bit game within a fraction of the time of making the big 3d graphic games. I have over 100 roms of quality games that play better then any of the new gen systems ones. And im sure you are also the one that perfers FFX over FFV just because of graphics.

As for sacred. I bought the game with expansion after downloading it just because I wanted to play online. It's that good of a game.

Sacred: Gold (Sacred + all expansions) is a darn fun game.. I origionally played the first release, and to be honest, I am going to install it again here in a little bit. Ive got a spare 120 gig IDE drive I tossed all my copied CD/DVD games onto, so itll only take a few minutes.

To give the low-low run down on the game.. Consider it as being Diablo 3, graphics are far superior to diablo 2, but they dont top some of the newest games coming out, lots and LOTS of levels.. tons of different difficulty levels, lots of fun classes to play (Nothing like playign a dwarf and lobbing mortars over water to get free xp from monster ;)) And I definatly recommend people to play it, hehe =)

I own sacred.. it's awesome.. I need to reinstall it :) I'll do that today.

If you want to be able to play online, you have to make an account, which means you have to buy the game and get a CD key.

It's so easy to dupe in that game.. :)

Usually in online play, you just hunt and save your character in a file, but there are servers that store the info and let you play through the whole game online..
