Well if you have looked lately, all game sections are private server realted DUH! So why is RZ gonna make a new section for just a global game? Goto an official board/fan site and discuss it there.

well it also depends on the server you're connecting to so don't think your 1 MB (or is it mb?) connection is fast. The server may only run 300MB which means you'd only go that and lower since I know they cap the servers; bandwidth saving.

I myslef have 3.5 MB cable (yes :P no one in my area has it, they're all rednecks) and I lag a lot where there are a billion of those idles retards, and it's 100% not my computer's fault

ahh man lol i just got to lvl 11 and got some decent armour and weapons and then this and man i am so annoyed and i am on holidays so what am i gonna do lol .... and what do they mean that the close beta is jsut gonna be a month does that mean that they are going to wipe our accs again after that and it says silkroad online is free for play forever but is that true ??

By the way, I found a way to log in to the server.
You do it like this: type in your username and password then press list and then click on the server.
Then connect, if you get disconnected run silkroad again.
But if you get the server traffic thing hold TAB and then press ENTER(do it fast) until you get inside the game.
If you pressed like 10 times and it didn't work,restart silkroad and try again.

Is this game still open to play? The website has like "Alpha beta... beta beta... closed beta, etc." so is it only selected players now?

If it is 'selected players now' I'll jump from mount everest.
