Similarities between XBOX360 'n' Sega Dreamcast

since you guys are talking about ps3 and xbox 360, i say both consoles are good. However my vote would goto ps3. Xbox 360 doesnt seem much of an improvement that would blow my mind away. Ive seen some of the xbox 360 games (previews) and it didnt look fun at all. Looks like the same old crap with just new graphics lol. Xbox was a dissapointment to me however. The games lacked good graphics and got dull after a while. When i played on the ps2, God was that fun.........for some reason. Anyways, these are just my opinions, dont crictizise them cause im not crictizing anybody else.

The only good game on xbox was halo, but that game got dull after 4 hours lol...........:thumbup:

hm... y would u want to pay for playonline AND also pay to connect to the net with ur xbox 360(to get those EXTRA features), buy it for pc or get it for ps2 where u just gota pay for one internet bill and the playonline fee unstead of 2 net bills (assuming ur gona get the gold membership) and the playonline fee.

it's true the features on the 360 are great but then again y would u want to have a media studio or w/e on ur xbox a pc does a great job of doing that now

also for the 360 most of the online games will be FPS running around shooting peoples heads off just like the xbox once uve played on damn game the rest are the same except for mb the maps and different guns and w/e they want to throw in. also if u really want to play an online game it's better to just get a pc ull probly pay less money connection to the net with a pc then with an xbox and guess what ull get every feature avaiable for that game without having to go out and buy a gold members bull shit.

the only reason y i HATED the org xbox was the fact the almost every single game i herd about was either a FPS, sports game, or a fighting game. which don't get me wrong are great for all of 2 days. but if u want something that will keep u interested for weeks sony will not let u down

as for right now if the xbox 360 (lets also say halo 3 and those other games u fools are waiting for are out) and the ps2 (yes ps2) were the same price i would go out and buy a ps2 with out even thinking about the xbox 360 capabilities and so called EXTRA features.

those feathers mean nothing if mb u don't own a computer then yes buy all means go out and buy a 360 it has everything a pc has and it's cheaper. but if u do have a pc which is 99% of us in north america then xbox is a waste of ur money bc it does the exact same thing as a pc. as for ps3 or even ps2 the games are well worth it they have games for everyone, and at least they will keep u busy for more then 3 days.

[EDIT] btw if the only choices i had where the Nintendo REV console and the microsoft xbox 360 console i would go out and buy my self the REV has a way better controller

I think I'll make my point without being completely rude.

FFXI for xbox 360 will not be free, you will have to pay for:
A) Play Online
B) FFXI The game and one charater
C) Everyother charater you create/Tetra Master

The only difference in xbox 360 is it's getting a new patch, that was first only going to be released for the xbox, however SE are now opening it on all PS2/PC/XBOX
Ther emight be a chance you'll be able to play FFXI for free (you'll still have to buy POL account) when it first comes out on xbox 360 because you will be playing in a test server while they fix the remaining bugs.

Microsoft asked for a Final Fantasy game for the xbox because alot of people have a Play station for the Final Fantasy game, hell even I have a ps2 for the FF games, in return xbox got FFXI, and they wanted this because of its power to go online.

In my opinion they have made a bad choice in picking FFXI to come out for the xbox, I love FFXI but I think they could have got alot more people interested in the xbox 360 by bringing out maybe FFXII on the xbox 360.

I myself am not getting an xbox 360 or ps3 till next year just when I go to uni, because one, I'll need someone to do lol, and two, I will be abe to see what one has more improvments upon the other one.
