[steam]Q3A and Q3TA

i just gave in and bought these bad boys, despite already owning a legit copy of Q3A and a working CD key to play it on steam you have to buy it again, however at $20 for Q3A and the expansion im not really that bothered, my old cd was probably too scratched anyway :P

does anyone else play this over steam? would be great to have a few games with you guys as I doubt anyone I used to know in the community plays anymore, after all, its been 9 years since it was 1st released!

i remember getting it from christmas from my uncle and i couldnt wait to get playing it! up untill that point i had only ever playing rainbow 6 rogue spear (which i was a god at) but oh no! i needed a graphics card! something i didnt have before now! because of my uncle buying me Q3A i bought my 1st ever gfx card the geforce mx440!

I recently bought the Quake pack over steam, had problems with the CPMA mod (Challenge Pro Mode) for Quake3, which I really only bought it for :( I too, had a GeForce 2 MX440 (upgrade from an ATi Rage), with ye olde AMD Athlon XP 1GHz!

Those were the days of Online FPS gaming...

If i'm not busy, add me on steam friends "csm", I'll play if i have the time :D

i do play Q3A but without steam. joining servers listed in the game...
