They are really trying to push the replay side, the legacy system is entirely focused on it. Basically you get account based exp after you have one char over 30ish and do the first act of your story quest. This will unlock future bonuses, atm it's just a surname. It was a recent addition so it's still a work in progress.
And yeah, tbh the replay is a little boring. I've done 1-20 around 7 times now on mostly different adv classes. The *optional* (not really as you need to level up to do class quests) are exactly the same, you can just give different responses, which mostly lead to the same conclusion anyway. The class quests are shared with the other adv class of your class, so there are basically 8 story's that are unique in the game. The rest will slowly drive you crazy.
But as with every mmo, the story is just the time sink before you can actually start the game anyway. I have no idea what raiding is like, but if they don't let me have healing addons I doubt I'll be sticking around long. It's bad enough not having dual spec for levelling tbh. No matter how good the story is while levelling, if the end game sucks it will have player retention.
Aight, just bought the CE's edition [€150]- waiting for it to arrive in me mail sometime this coming week. :D:
Getting kinda bored of WoW atm, all I do is Raid 2-3 evenings a week, and do JC dailies...
Anyone here playing on the EU Realms want to invite me over to their server? :P:
Amazing maintenance times for europe. Well done bioware.

Now I understand your point mate, I've been a bit 'away' from Ragezone to keep up with these threads, I must apologize, I'm a Jedi Knight on Nightmare Lands btw (EU-PVE) :]
But seriously, a game of this magnitude deserves his own section and it's just a matter of time until SWTOR hits the pserver world.
Wouldn't it be fun to have a SWTOR section to post our screenshots, our guides for our favorite classes, our combinations of powers and abilities, or even just for general discussion? I would really like to be able to expand my knowledge about the game and to learn from others, since you probably noticed that the SWTOR forums are a complete chaos, 80% of the threads there are about WoW vs SWTOR -.-
Anyways, to the maker of this thread, Robert, I will leave here the link to my suggestion thread, I have further details there and even some of my screenshots:

Thanks for pointing out this thread again Alfons, and may the Force be with you all :]
I apologize again for not searching for this thread.
EDIT: Super Moderator Madison just told us to post our information here, so if there's enough popularity, SWTOR could get its own section.
I'm Jedi Knight NeoDio on Nightmare Lands EU-PvE
Also, I'm quoting my suggestion post into this thread.
Long live SWTOR!
Damn you NioDio, those screenshots REALLY make me want to play. :(
I totally understand you, I've had that feeling during the past 3 years while the game was in development :]
I never payed to play an online game, even WoW, Ultima Online, GunZ, etc.. I've always played in private servers, but for this game I don't mind paying at all, it's definetly worth it.
Loving the game - got a level 32 Gunslinger and a 20+ Commando on the Dune-EU server... :D
