The speculation on the FF re-releases and movie.

Anyway, i was reading through a bumped thread, and you alll seem a bit lost on whats going on tbqfh.

Anyway, there is a final fantasy 7 game coming out, but features only vincent, its called dirge of cerberus, havent looked into it much, but it is coming out, also has shitty ps1 graphics so dont expect much ( i honestly dont know why they are doing it as a ps1 game but w/e ).

Advent children will be released in the US and Europe, as someone already said, FF sells big in both continents.

As for a final fantasy 7 remake, i doubt its gonna happen, as i posted before, the apprent "new FF7" intro is just a tech demo, showing what the ps3 can do.

Final fantasy 12 is expected to be released this august, and by the E3 trailer, the battle system has changed, its all realtime now, but its a bit different, looks quite good, but i think getting rid of the old battle system will ruin the FF feel.

Btw has anyone finished ff7 completely? as in got all ultimate weps, done everything, got every item and defeat ed ruby and emerald weapon?

I killed ruby, i didnt kill emerald, hes the only weapon i cant beat, and holding me back from 100% completion :(

Ive completed every ff game to date except xi, for obvious reasons.
Dirge is ment to be in the same battle system or similar to DMC.

Advent children ( I think ) is going to be another flop, Square isnt great at making full length movies(Take spirits within for example).It'll sell well because its ff(7), we all know theres a lot of ff7 fanboys.

Yeh ive also done everything on FF7 lol, even seen the secret video with Zack in Nibelheim (which aint that secret)

mmmkay... well, from what I have seen of the screenshots from ingame, it doesnt look like a PS1 game at all... the graphics are acually decent... Screenshots of it can be found here http://www.gpara.com/comingsoon/doc/0610/index.htm (the graphics could be better, but thats not PS1 graphics...)

yep i finished ff7 at 100% , but it took me like 250hours , i hated those damn quests like the lightning ones

the games huge.i play the ff on the ps1 and it came with 4 discs and we didnt even complete the first disc but we only had it for 1 month

Uhm... FF7 was only 3 discs... you might be talking about FF8 or 9... they were both 4 discs right? (8 sucked IMO, I liked 9 though...)

And yeah, I have seen/read nearly everything (thank you Gamefaqs.com and various friends, and hours of staring blankly at my TV).
