I think everyone who plays a lot of DOTA in general should always get banlist, hxxp://www.wc3banlist.de/ I use it, and its great. If you usually host DOTA, this is probably a must get so you don't get leavers/noobs, you know, every dota there's at LEAST 3 noobs or leavers, especially now since the map loads really fast, so people can just leave if they get a "bad" hero, and etc, etc, the list goes on.

dota is old and repetive... in other words BORING...

They keep updating it, and making it more even. I love DOTA, and I don't really think this is the thread to be bashing it.
For instance, Stealth Assassin's ultimate in the mid 5's used to be a ward which did like 100+ damage at a very high speed, and basically that would be the end of you. However now, his ultimate is Permament Invisibility.
They also have implemented new items and Heros like Bracer, Wraith, Blood Seeker, Earth Shaker, Bristleback, and Spiritbreaker.
So really, it's not boring, but this is only my .02.

its 6.19B right now. its repetitive as in you tend to do the same things over and over again. but at the same time, you are also playing with different ppl (most of the time) and different ppl choose different heroes which also means different strategies employed. its always prefered that you play with the ppl you know, at least they wont leave or run away during a game, even if they do, you can always beat them up when you see them lol.
hehe if ur so lousy to play rpg that so long to play try this 1 this is rock if play the old old old old ver. thats not cool. i hear there was a hamachi for network LAN ..its like a LAN in Internet i wish i have 1 cuz its only works in XP and i am using a 98 version -..-

all i know here in our country this 1 is a HIT, dota is for fun practice make perfect and try to play to new version not the old 1 -_- yeah its boring if ur sucks :P
Well aeons are stupid because there is actually no skill involved... computer AI controlled units get sent out to battle... they all die... heroes come in and bang u progress 1mm.... so the game lasts what... 4 hours minimum? lol...
hehe i hope they come out a a new maps with AI that uses skills
btw if u really play with AI its really kinda sucks ....
