Oh snap, you linked me to a vid of this a while back. I can see the comparison between the two games but I find that 3rd person action games feel different to top down/sidescrolling action games i.e. trinity or diablo.
trinity does look pretty sick though ^_^
Argo Online. It's a fairly new game, Alaplaya is hosting it. There are a few bugs and text anomalies in quests but it's a good game. If you like questing and Title achievements with a bit of RTS in the gameplay as well, this is the game for you.
PS: You can also play it like a 3rd Person Shooter mmo.

Argo is the post apocalyptic one isn't it? two factions one who live in tune with nature and the other with pure machinery. That's on my to try out list but apart from the setting and weapons the gameplay seems pretty standard still, even the 3rd person shooter camera type you can use doesn't seem to effect gameplay very much then again I haven't tried it yet so my opinions on it are only based on gameplay vids.Quote:

Yeah Argo's the post-apocalyptic one. The 3rd person shooter type was a big no-no too since it still only attacks on a fixed interval, but it would seem fun for pvp for a change though. I'll keep my client still for new updates till Prius goes online.

I did everything I could in PRIUS, the english community died out, the korean guild I'm in also slowly died out.
I didn't feel like grinding everyday and shit, and there was more interesting games coming out at the time too.
I tried Argo for a few hours but wasn't impressed. It looks nice but nothing really took me by suprise or made me think it's the game for me. Stil lgot it installed but never had the desire to relaunch it.
Tried a little world of tanks last night and I'll be playing again today the game-play isn't as slow as a lot of reviews made it look. If you die you are out of the battle and can spectate to the end or you can leave the battle and start another with a different tank (you start with 3 beginner tanks). When the game your original tank was in finishes you still get any exp and currency you earned as well as your tank back to repair/re-arm.
I gave perfect world a whirl, it was ok. Generic MMORPG.
I still play Vindictus every new content update, but I am so good/fast at that game with my friends we clear all the new content and hit the level gaps within a month so thats an off/on game.
Other than that.. I guess LoL? Not really much of a gamer tbh.
Aika Online looks decent and seems to have pretty low system requirements too. Any opinions?
aika looks good and the characters have some fancy animations but once that wears off it's pretty standard.Quote:
