When I was 6 years old my father was bought me a Nes Console and I like it very-very much because that is my first time I can play video games ..
I got a lot of memories with the games console and until now when I bored I will download the Nes Emulator and play Maria Bros , that game is the best game all the time ..

This was probably the best console I have ever owned, I love playing retro games, I still even have the console now, it's a shame I have lost the charger to it. My favorite game for this console was most likely Pokémon Emerald, boy I loved playing that game.

Nintendo 64 ? I never played this but I have saw friend I played this and I think it's cool console too ..
Sega Master System...Mother got it for me for Christmas..I lost it for 2 weeks Christmas morning because she woke up in the morning and found me up playing it...I woke up around 1 am and was so excited I couldn't wait LOL
Came with a game called "Hang On" a motorcycle racing game that never ended...you couldn't save your games so one week I left it on so I could see if I could "beat it" and got to level 250 before I finally shut it off...

I've played lots of consoles as a kid. Xbox, PlayStation 1,2, and various others. But the first console i owned was actually a handheld. That handheld was the Nintendo GameBoy Advance SP. Me being the dumb idiot that I was at the age of 7 me and my brother thought it would be fun to smash them. I regret this, a lot. My now passed away grandmother had given us those and now, well I just regret it. I was one of those idiots who wrecked stuff as a kid, a lot of expensive stuff that my family worked there ass's off to get my brother, sister and I. My other grandmother and grandfather also worked hard giving all their money to my mom and us to let us live a happy life. I only have one grandparent now :( Off topic, sorry.
Now that first console I owned and didn't have to share was the N64. My mom and step-dad got me it back in 2010 or 2011. I then bought a PS2 slim the same year.
I'm sorry about getting a little off topic, I had to share that part of the story. I'm also a more mature 16 year old and take much better care of the shit. I don't even let anyone but me touch my things.
feel sorry about your grandparent bro.. Gameboy Advance SP is also best console ever .. All console in this world is awesome because without the console we can't play games.. But in this era people not very care about console because they can play game in Tablet , phone , etc ..
Thanks, the Gameboy Advance SP is definitely one of the best. I also know what you mean. So many people take things for granted, especially video games because we have them since we were born. I don't because my family not being so well with the money and all, I cherish every games I get and not just games but everything i own now. Whenever I see people break retro or even new games it kills me, it honestly does. Whenever I see gameStop/EB throw games out and not let me take them it makes me furious. TO just wast good games and consoles like that when other people could have them. I mean if your going to throw them out anyway, why not donate them? Or when I ask to keep them let me? I mean your were just throwing them in the trash and then your going to charge for them, like WTF? If your not going to let me have them you really should donate them, not only does it not waste them, but it also makes your company look good. I'm sure it would make a lot of kids happy.

My first ever console was a Sony Playstation 1. I also owned the same model Shawie posted, except my controller didn't have the analog sticks. The first game I ever played was GTA 2.
Got the PS1 as a gift when I was about 6 years old. After that I also got the PS2 (fat & slim) and PSP as gifts. I've only paid for my PS3. As well as owning a PS1 I've also owned a Gameboy Color and a Gameboy Advance SP around the time I had my PS1. I don't own any of them anymore except my black PS2 fat model and black PS3 slim
