Which Game Do You Think Will Dominate This Year???

My personal Opionion, Fable 2. Its been Under Development for what? 2 years now? mabey 1.5 If we all know Lionhead Studios, The will Bring there best to the table. Fabled 2 just with the Trailer, has fans including me. awaiting its realease in uhh, i cant remember, but yeah its hard to choose between all thoes Great Games. But Fable is sure one to put the Fable Fans and new ones, in the Rich Lore we have come to enjoy ;P

1.5 or 2 years is just average in terms of game development these days
there r games of 3 years and more
look at gran tourismo or final fantasy 13 wich has been in development since 2004 and will be released 2009 ,but there r many many more
like the multiplatform darksector wich has been released this week and which was announced in 2004

New to this section..

But I'd have to agree with fable 2. I remember the first one,wasn't so big for me when it came out. Some friends got me into it and I was playng xbox more then I was playing XBL and pc put together. I seen some previews and it looks like you can get guns now(muskets)


The reason I picked fable 2 was the fact that it's the only game I can see people playing for a couple more years after it's released that is.

yea fable was great ,ppl will definitly play fable 2 for a long time , only for its co up its super , any player can instantly join ur game wherever u r , the other player will just popup besides u

but a game i can see ppl playing for a looong time even after its release is spore that universe is limitless ,and probably final fantasy 13 , hell ppl r still playing ff 7 which is 10 years old

Yea you make a good point,I guess this just depends on the amount of users each system has,will it effect the sales for that system?will most games be limited to systems?

GT5 prologue suxx sorry to say it but you only can buy cars and not tune them so thats an waste of time and money for an preview peak its great so i hope gt5 will have the raly and tuning and so on else i would not even get it.

look at S.T.A.L.K.E.R , it has even a longer time of development!
or how about Duke Nukem : Forever with a huge development time either
, both games have delays and there is nothing sure about duke nukem yet , after all those years

MGS 4 Baby, once it comes out, ppl will try to sell their 360's with their 4 decent games that exist, or try to exploit the warranty.

Resident Evil 5 - release TBA but hey we can always hope

Huxley if it ever comes out, but then again it could be shit be cause of 'over development'

Farcry 2, looks better than crysis imo in some aspects

•Spore (DS and Wii. The online features like sweeet. Plus there's room for sequels.)
•Alone in the Dark (Controll-wise, it will pwn 360 and PS3)

Playstation 3:
•Grand Tourismo 5
•Metal Gear Solid 4 (Looks simply AMAZING graphically.)

PC:
•Alone in the Dark (1 word.. Amazing.)
•This new MMORPG with Mortal Kombat-style button combo's.. (Forgot the name)

My Game of the Year will be Alone in the Dark.

I think that all offline games are dying slowly. Personally I don't play offline games for 1 year now and never thought of playing some of them. So mostly I think that WHO, WoW, AoC, CoD:4 will own this year.
