I've had my 360 since it was first released and never got them red rings. I'm pretty sure today's 360s are far less likely to get them.
smaller die size for the chips means less heat problems so yeah red rings are a lot less likely in new ones
Nope, Stated like a thousand times, Gears 2 won't be coming to PC, I guess this is 360 first truly Exclusive LOL!
No Gears of War 2 for PC
xbox 360 > ps3
I'd rather get a PS3 I regret buying my 360 just for Halo and Gears of War but eventually there gonna make everything for PS3 like all the good games are coming out for PS3 now like L.B.P Little big planet is freaking awesome I love that game too bad I can't play it cause I got a 360 instead of a PS3...
http://vault.ign.com/fullstory.php?id=47153 yes ps3 is really kicking ass right now
Alot of PS3 Games are sorta fail.. The 360 has the awesome games, gigorga don't feel bad, 360 OWNZ the PS3.. LBP is fail after a week or so.
I had the choice between the PS3 and the 360 last year, and I went with the 360. To be quite honest I do not regret my choice. This being because I have been enjoying (when I have time to play) the junk out of my games; which sadly I've yet to beat due to lack of time.
But in my opinion the 360 has a nicer internet service with the basic aspects free, and if you do choose to pay for the gold service it is very worth it as well. Heck I plan on resubscribing to it over Christmas so I can enjoy some of the things on there when I have time. That aside, they are even coming out with a networking system similar to that of the Wiis (at least in my opinion) where you can build an avatar and socially network by means of exchanging pictures, chatting, etc. And even rumors of bringing your avatar into some of the downloadable games you can get.
I also enjoy the 360 exclusive games a bit more for the 360 that I do the PS3. This being some games like Viva Pinata, Mass Effect, Phantasy Star Universe ( the PS2 version cannot even hold a candle to this, I'm sorry >.>) as well as the improved backwards compatability for all my xbox games. Which again is limited to non-existant in the PS3 for PS2 games.
We may end up getting a PS3 at home though if my father wishes to get a Blu-ray player. Because if this is what you are looking for. The PS3 while a bit pricier for a Blu-ray player is the best quality one you can get since it provides movie info, and firmware updates periodically. But aside from PS-Home, it has nothing in the way of games that really interest me :>
The 360, its epic.
Let me be clear, the average 360 user has more 360 games then the average PS3 or Wii user, and that's not just because it came out a year earlier, also over the past year the 360 averaged higher. So don't say the PS3 is hitting the homeruns with games, because they don't.
In the end both consoles are good, both have their advantages and disadvantages.
There are a few key things
-Exclusives - each has different ones, check which you prefer
-Online - PS3 is free, 360 has a much better service, but you have to pay.
-Blu-Ray player - If you want one then the PS3 offers a nice deal, otherwise it will cost you extra money
Those are the 3 main points, hardware is similar, controllers are similar (though i most definitely prefer the 360 controller), many of the games are the same or similar, they both have a solid future ahead, so no need to worry about that either.
