ok i WAS a die hard sony fanboy
until.... sony said stupid things:
- PS3 doesnt need a price cut (WTH!??!!? whos your market? class A? bye bye market share)
- Sony doesnt pay for exclusivity ( >:( hey assholes we thought ps3 had exclusive FFXIII and Tekken)
Still PS3 is a great machine, still has the lineup of LBP and uh... yea Resistance2 and Killzone 2 and uh.. KH2?
Xbox, i hate paying for XBL but no doubt, games library is better.

ps3 defenatly.
first thing is, you dont have to pay to go online.
2nd thing, EVERY game gets updates.
if u want more than that go to the ps3 site.
and i heard someone is trying to make ps3 into homebrew so it should be really fun like the psp

I went with the 360, don't regret it at all. I'm not gonna be a fan boy and talk about how the PS3 sucks when I don't even have one. I'm pretty sure both have their pros and cons, but I'd say go with a 360.

I Prefer The 360.
the ps3 is a complete copy of the 360 because they have used the gamertag's gamerscore's ETC. and it's more expensive.
if i were you. go with the 360.
Personally i own both a PS3 and Xbox360. I bought both at launch and from the time that i have had them i would say i have played 4x as much the 360. Now here are the reason i would advise a 360.
Ps3 Perks:

Sexy Interface
Easily Changeable/Upgradeable Hard Drive
Free Online Play
Stronger Hardware to support more realistic GFX
Xbox360 Perks:
XBL - Massive ammounts of players online at almost all times.
Large Selection of Games
Soon to be Sexy Interface
Free NetFlix(Supposedly)
PS3 Cons:
Low Console Sales
Has habit of getting updates that cause system malfunction
Small Game Selection
Low ammounts of Online Players
Developers are scared to make too many games because of low console sales
Xbox360 Cons:
No Blu-Ray
HDDVD Player is external and will only play movies
lower hardware specs then PS3
P2P Online Service
Cannot upgrade own hard drive for bigger size
Live sometimes craps out.
I have always been a Sony guy but i have had all systems released. But i see the Xbox360 staying a more stable and widely used console. So if you are an mainly online player like me i would go for the 360 unless you want to play the PS3 specific. Side note MGS4 Blows low game play time and HUGE amounts of video @_@.

coding for PS3 is as they say tougher than coding for 360 (with the advantages of XNA compatibility and others)
I mean, look at Gran Turismo (GOD THE GRAPHICS.... O_O) its like wow wow wow wow.......
With the calculating power of PS3, AI could be significantly smarter
but other PS3 games become like crap because of poor development (but i'm not saying the devs are to blame, they have a heavy load at their backs, plus also other factors like funding and time, especially if youre partnered with a publishing company that implements impossible deadlines)
PLUS WTH!?!?? Sony should make like a special compiler for PS3 or coding program. Sony should also shell out money for exclusivity!!!
360 is like the PS2 of this generation with one drawback of course... the XBL subscription.
Games are generally great plus with Microsoft being able to convince the japanese developers to make games for them....
ohh well just my opinion
