Hey guys I bought a Wii a few weeks ago (yay :P ) and I'm wondering if anyone has CoD 3 for it or the PS3/Xbox 360 and if its worth the buy or not, I personally like FPS games, so if you could maybe post a good trailer or persuade me to buy it that'd be cool :P
Dude, you obvisiously hadnt had a good look at launch titles for wii. Cos COD is one of the top 5 [after Twilight princess and red steel].
Though some warning it is not like your usual fps shooters with Wii the controller in some stages is used as a gun e.g sniper so if you want to embrace this new tech' go ahead. But be warned ive got the game and its a little different but still has the COD feel.

It is very much worth buying. Got many missions to complete, good game to play, plenty to do. For the Wii, I haven't attempted for myself but I've been the told the controller just gives a difference experience to how the game is play yet has the COD feel to it.
Me and kitten has it for the x360 and it's a great game. Not as long as story emersive as the first two but the game play is much better. Not to sure about the Wii but it looks interesting.

To say that the graphics of the COD wii version is bad is acceptable and is acknowledged as you said in "reviews" BUT nintendo's main aim was never for graphic perfection when they made the wii but for gameplay perfection so pointing out graphics as a fault would be foolish since they were never intended as a strength.
Also you are wrong in saying the controls are EXTREMELY bad because i have read several trusted reviews [url's below] and either did'nt mention a extremely bad controller interface on the contrary they mentioned several features like the driving controls that seemed to come almost naturally.
And then you go on to mention the fact that a slight movement on the controller will cause a screen spin. but playing the game and reading reviews will show you it is to the opposite side that the fault lies, that the game sometimes lack enough sensitivity regarding the nunchuk controller.
So next time you wanna post something as bold as this look where you get your info from cos dude your wrong

when i say that i "read" meany reviews, i did not just mean form websites.
i know several people who have the game and say its total crap.
and i stand by everythign i said.
i do not care if you found reviews which contradict what i said, but i found many reviews from websites + people i know who are completely against you.
p.s- no, i bolded the correct part, the controls are extremely bad and awekward. how awkward you ask? try using an oversensative wireless motion detecting console controler to wrestle a weapon off someone ingame.
Well first what i tried to say in my topic is that when you give an opinion like that on a forum please state it is only your opinion cos you said it like everybdy sed it was that bad when serveral "trusted" websites clearly state it is a ok and in some stages a rly fun game and people should get their info from actual trusted sources not just your friends which sry have no credibility in my eyes. And if they found it crap doesnt mean to say everybody would do the same.

Your friends do know you can change the sensitivity level in the main wii menu? Saying the controller is too sensitive prob means they have it set too high, i know i did at the start.
However i do agree, dont bother with review sites. Either buy it and make up your own mind or ask a friend who has a similar opinion on games and ask them. Asking a complete stranger is never wise, i bet you can count the number of games proper review sites give a 1/10 to on one hand. They are never completely fair on things, most likely if they were theyd get sued alot :p
aye they had to put the sensativity all the way down to play it (it was not on high to begin with, more or less in the middle)

BTW red steel multiplayer is supposed to be uber. The story mode isnt too good because thr story itself sucks, however the whole wiimote interface is suppose to be good. I think thats why they dumbed down the sword play, to more focus on the FPS aspect.
That said, ive never really liked WW2 sims, or even FPS for that matter.
Finally someone goes and states the obvios red steel ppl buy that b4 COD, like my pal sed the death matches pwn. I think its the 2nd best game on wii atm 1st in fps genre. Only shame is there is no online play i think or i would be playing 24'

Aniwaiz i stand by Twilight princess it PWNS!!! its not a Gc game dousche its meant for wii some features like fishing and bow nd arrow shooting r king and make the game tons of fun GC is a dumbed down version of it.

No, it is a GC game. Nintendo has repeatably said so. They however delayed it, repeatable i might add, to release it on the wii at the same time (ish anyway)
I have got zelda, hell i was playing it 10min ago. It is a good game, just it could just of easily been on the GC. Sure the pointer targeting is nice and all but it could of been done resonably well with the GC, and im sure will be done as such. I also doubt the graphics were improved much aswell, making it technically one of the worse wii games when comparing to xbox 360 since it has the best graphics of all.
Personaly im looking forward to the next zelda, once they have got the remote down to an art and the graphics are much improved. They used an entire DVD disk when it could fit on one of them small ones why? :p
lol how can u compare the graphicks of a wii to a 360.... thats just redicules
the wii has the power of a normal xbox , offcorse they wont get the graphicks that the 360 can preduce
well i dont think you realised i was only popinting out a few examples of Zelda , im not sure how far you are but as you progress they are more features that are used by the ms feat' and are more fun. Also they are minigames and the nice sword fighting when your vs'ing mobs on your horse that makes it even more fun.
It would work on gc but i stand by saying it wouldnt be nearly as close as fun
