i hate the fact there is no online play...

Guitar Hero IV will drop Rock Band off the face of the planet.
Guitar Hero 3 is basically the same as RockBand but RockBand has more instruments. And Guitar Hero 3 only uses Guitar because that is why it is called Guitar Hero.

RB is not like GH3... yes RB is made by the former GH1+2 team but not 3... RB is a evolved form with better online EX downloadable content... there are dozens of songs more then gh3... there are more instruments yes vocals weren't a precise hit but to make it a band you need it... Rb has better gameplay, EX: overdrive stacks, the characters are better looking, customizable (not just crappy clothes).
yes they call it guitar hero b/c you only use guitars look at world tour i see drums and microphone... so should they rename it to rock heroes? no they got a franchise name and keeping loyal... RB is definately not GH3 with more instruments... it started a peripheral revolution that makes us dole 200 bucks for a usb microphone and a drumset and guitar...
harmonix took a big leap in peripheral change... if activision tried this first it would most likely screw it up like the wii GH3 audio and bonus songs... on that note MTV games made a RB track pack for wii and PS2 so atleast we can taste the DLC...
GH3 had nothing on RB... o wait the boss battles... 3 battles... 1 against tom morellow(sp?(just shows how much of a "legend of rock he is)), slash (too easy imho) and the devil in a crappy metal butcher of the devil went down to georgia... good job at ruining gh...
onlything GH:WT has is a foggy set list and a music creator good luck getting me to buy it... even though RB2 has a 360 exclusitivity for a while im still willing to drop my money on a port then more then likely crappy port of WT missing 3/4 of stuff b/c wii space issue
I wouldn't mind trying it out, but I don't have a Wii.
