Hey nopeace does that mean if I want to order games from the US and play on my Wii, I can't? Is it split up like this again:
- Oceanic OR - Oceanic & Asia
- USA
- Europe ?
Because that would really suck and cause more piracy....

Im guessing your from aus same as me
Well i had a look around and are wii's should be able to play USA games and MAYBE europe im not sure bout that yet cos my friend told me u could but i wont say its true till i see it myself so so far the only def games we cant play are asia regions e.g. japan
I don't think the wii is region free, but I think the ps3 is.
The wii is not region free. It is still split up in it's own regions like ntfs and PAL etc.
If you TV can support NTSC singles then it will work. If you TV can't then you won't get a picture. =P
If you have a PAL 60 then no problem. Got a PAL 50 and then there might be issues.
Yeah the Wii isn't region free. Hence the need for mod chips. =P
PS3 is region free for games and movies it's setup in that A, B, C standard for BluRay. With all NTSC under A, all PAL under B, and the other thing under C. A universal ATSC mode will be intoduced once it's becomes the world standard in about 2008-2010.
x360 is DVD region locked (can be gotten around by the HDDVD atatchment from a different region. And it's games are region locked based on if the game developer wants it to be or not. Most games are region free.
NoPeace - out
